New Level - Back Steps

Found on Mr. Synergy's hard drive, this is the version of First Steps that was presented to investors. It featured a game mechanic that was later watered down and repurposed for the Platinum Edition. The full details of the mechanic's original workings have been lost to time, as the build in question appears to have been destroyed. However, textual feedback is still present. One investor in particular praised "the shapes on the horizon" and how playing the game made him feel "as if something were about to happen".

I watched this in a Discord stream and... well, it was one hell of a broken experience since the game really can't handle this stuff properly. It's even different on different machines (for example, some objects may or may not be solid), which shows how much the game struggles to handle this level.

Unfortunately, I couldn't play it myself, since on Wine it crashes immediately upon startup. Oh well, I guess Wine isn't sober enough to handle this much craziness.
