Puzzle Friday: Issue No. 1 - Reflectors

Post by Firewolfxl5 » Sat Aug 05, 2023 4:48 am

It's friday, y'know what that means! Puzzle Friday!!!

This puzzle is about reflectors.

In order to beat the level, you must guide the cannon blaster by
positioning reflectors correctly to break the wooden box and escape.

Do you think you have what it takes to escape? :stinkycool:

Trivial - have you tried to place this in the "kid's levels"?

Hi, Amnon!

No, sorry... I haven't put the level on the Kid's Levels forum yet. Heh...

Hi Firewolf;
yes, I agree with Amnon that these levels might be better suited for the kids section. They're definitely on the easier side, and though the section says it's for "kids", I assure you that it's only for levels which are comparatively easy. Very few little kids play RTW custom levels... mostly because very few people still play RTW at all

If you're hoping to make brutally difficult puzzles, don't worry about it; I quite thoroughly enjoy these kinds of levels a lot more ;) (which is a lot coming from someone who makes brutally difficult puzzles)

You're welcome to reupload these in that section if you want, as well as future ones. Up to you. I will say though that having played through this, it was quite enjoyable. I will note that I didn't need all the reflectors (because of the level setup, I could just use three of them). But using all six is a bit more fun

Glad to see folks are at least interested in the game still. Look forward to seeing more from ya

(I'll upload a solution to this eventually... got a pretty bloated upload schedule atm. Hopefully I can actually squeeze your stuff in on the 8th, since some of the stuff I uploaded, as filler to go with something else, I decided might be better for April Fools...)

Hi Jutomi,

I guess I might as well put these in the kids sections, just redirecting here though because what's the point?

Uploaded my video solution~

Would've done the more fun way, but I try to fit levels into a minute video wherever I can. :P

Looking forward to your next issue ;)
