New Level - Little Loof

Post by Liz Mayhew » Thu Apr 21, 2005 12:05 pm

Here's a little level. Maybe tricky at the beginning? Don't know. Easy at the end. Have fun.

Neat little loof puzzle, Liz, had me going there for awhile at the beginning... but I finally figured it out... The dang old chomper gave me fits!!... I liked the little box puzzle... Think I used 20 more boxes than I needed to but I managed to get to the exit...  ... Good level!

A very clever level, Liz! I really enjoyed figuring out the puzzles. It took me awhile though. Like Carolyn, that chopper also gave me fits until I finally outwitted him. 8) Thanks for loads of fun! :D

FANTASTIC !! This has kept me occupied for hours Liz - there HAD to be a way. I've said it before, you know it's a good one when you hit home and punch the air shouting hooray .. this was worthy of a lap of honour round the block !!

Superb :D :D

Thanks

Kazza :) :)

This is a perfect puzzle!
The size is small, every object has a purpose and is used.
And oh so very tricky to figure out. One wrong move and you are done!

Very nice I enjoyed it, and it took me forever to figure out.
BTW...there is no more lake, I filled it up.

You will never know how long it took me to figure out this puzzle. Like the others I knew where everything should probably go, but getting objects there just "threw me for a loop" :!: :!: :!: After about the 20th try I thought I had made yet another mistake, but lo & behold it WORKED :!: :!: :!: The true mark of an excellent puzzle is how many tries you are willing to give it. Keep up the good work :!: :!: :!:

Congratulations everyone who got through this. 8) :D  8) :D

If anyone is still in limbo-land, I can post hints if you want.

This is one of those small box things which you either see or you don't see at the beginning. To me, at least, that's where the problem was. Chompers and kabooms were an afterthought.

FINALLY got around to playing this one, Liz.

Excellent, excellent little puzzle. I knew something had to be up with what
was visible, and all the pieces had to go somewhere. Took quite some
attempts, but managed to get it all together, and this was indeed one of
the better levels I've seen in a while.

Thank you! Great fun!!

Hi Liz,

Thanks for the hint. If it wasn't for you I'd be bald by now   I did it at last! As it turned out I tried to do everything sort of backwards, but your hint saved the day
There's not much lake left though   :D

Here for anyone who is still pulling their hair out is the solution (except for the end bit which is easy.

*******SPOILER*******

LITTLE LOOF SOLUTION

1 Electrocute kaboom in red gates.
2 Go up through teleporter and back again.
3 Push left box 1 down and 2 right, walk around and push it 1 left.
4 Push plasma box 1 down.
5 Push top box left and up through the teleporter.
6 Push next box left and up through the teleporter.
7 Put plasma box on red button.
8 Go through teleporter. Collect coins and push both boxes down through the teleporter. This blocks it and you can walk through.
9 Stand behind boulder and kill chomper with it.
10 Push box into water just left or right of generator and see what happens. The rest is easy.

*******END OF SPOILER*******
