New level - Trapped

Post by mette » Wed May 17, 2006 9:36 pm

Hi all,

I finally found some inspiration    . I have no idea what the stinker rating would be, so I guess you'll have to be the judge on that ;) :D

Enjoy

:D :D :D Hi Mette. Good to see you posting a level, This one had me scratching the old noggin for a bit, (Oban's will do that to me) This one wasn't to bad though, I was trapped for a bit until I got smart and had the duo working on the same side of the fence. Thanks for the fun and I hope you don't make us wait to long for the next one. :D :D :D

Most Excellent Puzzle ! :D
I'm not even sure if I could solve it again!
Extremely well designed Sokoban with a story & atmosphere!
You are definetly the best at these! :D

Qookie solved the button puzzle without any help from Peegue!
I never used the gate in between.

I always have so much trouble with those box puzzles! I tried all kinds of combinations but always got stuck. Finally ended up getting Peegue to help Qookie so they both made it to the exit! Fun level, Thanks Mette!

It sounds like there's definitely more solutions to this than I intended   . But as long as you had fun that doesn't really bother me

Thanks for playing :D

Sorry Mette - I'm hopeless at sokoban. I've been trying this for hours and getting nowhere. One day in the far distant future maybe ... :D

I'm not sure how Peegue could help, I couldn't figure it out. I did get Qookie to get all the boxes in place.

Excellent puzzle! Thanks!

At long last made it to "Home Sweet Home" :!: :!: Took numerous tries of pushing boxes but all my efforts paid off. Thanks for a brilliant sokoban, Mette

Yes please Mette - I would love a little help here. My poor old brain just doesn't co-operate with the sokoban puzzles.

hint - highlight to read wrote:I think the easiest approach is to put boxes on the purple, dark blue and light blue buttons. Make Peegue put a box in the water, step aside (light blue gate on the left) and make Qookie use the trampoline to get the last box in the water. Now Qookie and Peegue can work together to get the Sokoban done.
Or I can give you some screenshots of how to do the Sokoban with only Qookie.

Just let me know ;)

It's funny about sokoban puzzles, sometimes I see the solution almost right away and then other times I'm pushing boxes for 20 minutes and getting nowhere!

For this one I didn't use Peegue, but I did hop the fence, so I probably did not do it as intended :?:

Oh well, got the gold, I'm happy. Thanks Mette!

Thanks for the hints, Mette! It still took me many tries to get everything in the right positions to get both guys home. Finally made it! Thanks for loads of fun! :D

Did it easily.
Qookie solved the sokoban puzzle alone.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Well now this was an old one as well as the other But I'm glad because I didn't finish them but now I have finished both. This one really had me stumped. Finally got it after so long. Thanks Muz for bringing it back up.
