New Level (Advanced) - Sidmouth

Post by Liz Mayhew » Mon Jul 24, 2006 6:36 am

Hi All

The Gang and I need a holiday after all the hero stuff with Orcs, Giant Spiders and Mount Doom.

So we've gone to South Devon to play on the beaches. Today Loof is at Sidmouth (pronounced Sidmuth). Fast fingers needed in 1 place only.

I've made a new texture to go with all these levels. It's made from pictures of South Devon beaches.

Cheers Liz,
This was an ace challenge! :D
Had a fun time solving it.
So much puzzle goodness on a small beach!
And one of the finest eye-catching textures I've seen!
Now I want to take a trip to South Devon.

:D :D :D Dangy Liz! A challenge indeed! Took quite a bit of sorting here, Very fun to work out and gratifying to solve, I had to turn my thinking around to get anywhere on this one, Very deceptive, It looked like it would be a easyish level, Heck no!!! Nice misdirection. Ace all the way thanks. :D :D :D

Lovely texture and lovely setting! Took a lot of trial and error before I could even get started on this one! After running into many dead ends, I finally got it all right and collected my gold star on the way out! Thanks Liz!

I have been working on this one off and on for two days now and I finally got everything in place! I don't know how you intended the given objects to be arranged but I'm convinced I did it wrong, still I made it out and with gold!

Nice texture too!

Thanks Liz,
bob

Put everything in the wrong place, Lizzie, & had to restart many times. Finally got my act together & made it home with all the gold. Luv these puzzles where you have to try many different ways/routes to solve the level. Great time, many thanks for making my evening's entertainment.

Hi Lizzie - great to see some levels from you on my return from Devon :D It seems really nice to be reminded of where we have just been spending days on the beach :D The texture is awesome and so "beachy" 8)

This one took me ages - I think I must either be rusty or have spent too long on The Keekster's brainbenders today :o Finally got my act together and completed this stinkeroonie :D Very clever level and the transporter puzzle was really tricky

Great stuff - many thanks :D

After playing this one 20 times a night since you posted it, I finally got a new brain tonight and got through it. I have high hopes that I may be able to puzzle out the rest of the series soon. :D

I've had to work on this off and on for a few days, too. A very challenging level to start off the series. The hardest part was figuring out what kind of generator that was. After eliminating all other possibilities, I was left with only one thing, and finally made my way home.

Loved doing this! Thanks!

Everyday I tried it a couple of times and the light went off.

But today the light went on and I get the gold.

Thanks Liz for a great and challenging level. Now I on my way to your other levels

Just came back from Sidmouth and Teignmouth. Enjoyed them both very much and have now completed all of your beach series. Great fun, Liz. Thanks a lot :D
