Thanks Laura

I'm beginning to feel like one of the monks in "The Name of the Rose"
(they were hand scribing books, secreting them in the library and getting lost in Labyrinths.)

Its always good to have your support. It would be nice if some of the Model makers could pm me with some of their info. That way I could finish the "catalog" sooner and it would also be more accurate.

TY again and CYL

Hey guys :D
How's that? Matthew - I need the sign size please and any other important info about the model that you did not include in your original post. BTW I had this one ready to be added. It was right there on my list with the link already handwritten in beside it.

Just by clicking on the link, I took a look at your sign and have put that information into the catalog. So tell me, how do you change this jpeg text. I have had very little experience with jpegs.

Thanks for the info Toon Dog. :D

Ya open up paint, or whatever drawing program you use and open the JPG file, clear it out, then put your own stuff on it, save as model1 in another folder, then copy the 3ds file into the other folder and there you go.
EDIT: That SIGNBUTTEN model was made off my SIGNTEXT model but the picture was made by Toon Dog so it's more like made by Toon Dog. :P
EDIT2: I put the changing JPG information on my topic.
EDIT3: Why am I doing all these edits?

Thanks Donna,

I think Cat and I have gotten the easy part done. Now we need to get some info from the modelmakers themselves. But everyone is very busy with the Easter contest so I guess this can wait til next week. I keep pluggin' along, entering whatever I can find, etc. and I have made some wonderful discoveries. Maybe I will get the chance to use them in a level or two.

I'm sorry but you're going to have to ask me specific questions about certain models if I've made them. I have thousands of model files on my pc, some have been posted on here some haven't. Without going through every file I can't give you any information. It's such a long time since I did some of them I can't even remember what they are.

A lot of the models were made for someone in particular too so they didn't need to have instructions in with them. I think I only put readme files in with them if there were several of the same model in different postitions or if the dead spot wasn't in the middle, things like that. If it was just one model and the dead spot was in the middle then there would have been no read me file. The information about the model would have been in the post with the model. If the model was in with a level then usually there was no information at all.

Sorry if this is making more work for you but at the time it never entered my head that anyone would make a catalog(ue)(English spelling  ). :)

1 Model / 20,000 Leagues under the Sea submarine 20X3 goes below water level and is oriented north/south. A = Sub = Model1
I think Loof101 made this, I'm pretty sure I didn't. :?

EDIT.
No it was Kaboom!, I just posted it again because he'd deleted it. :D

I can find all the models I ever posted in the user attachments control panel in my profile, very useful.

I just remembered that I actually posted some models. I didn't make them, but took something from other folders. I posted some models for my "King Tut's Treasure"-series. It was:
Tut3M - I think it's some palmtrees http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=4854
Tut4M - I think it's a palmtree http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=4868
Tut5M - some floor texture models (for visual effect) http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=4915
Tut6M - another floor model (to cover something up, I think) http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=4924
Tut7M - some other floor models (to cover something up) http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=4982

And then some random ones:
Mette32m - floor model http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=5338
Mette45m - cars - probably the MS ones http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=6273
Mette46m - some arches - probaly Robbie's with new texure http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=6422
Mette47m - ditto Mette46m http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=6441
Mette50m - a car - ditto Mette45m http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=6868

And I know Popo made a limo for me once: http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=6956 .
And Popo also made me a grasspatch: http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=12087

And Robbie made floors: http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=4985

That's all I know right now. Hope it helps ;)

Mette

EDIT: did some research in my attachment panel and have added the download links

As soon as I can, the models you have listed here will be placed into their proper categories and researched for their links. I appreciate the list, it does clarify some things. Let me know if you come up with any others please.
