What Danish people eat for breakfast? Generally not "Wienerbrød". Normally we eat corn flakes or toast or yoghurt or whatever's available. Bjarne and I are not picky. We'll eat what you normally would eat for breakfast. Don't worry about it, I'm sure everything will be wonderific
I'm known for being able to eat allmost anything for breakfast. Leftover pizza, leftover anything in fact

You guys are going to have soooo much fun, I wish I could come. I'd be more than happy to try weinerbread, for breakfast or any other meal for that matter
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Laurie Lou, you will be with us in spirit like a lot of other Wonderlanders.
Talking of breakfast, a normal Irish/Scottish brekkie consists of the following.. Bacon, eggs, sausage, soda bread, potato bread, mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans.
How I'm going to make all that for 13 people is beyond me, we will have to do it in separate sittings.
Not to worry, we will get through breakfast in time for lunch.
Back to my list again, why is it not getting shorter?

Make that 12 Auntie Mo - I never eat breakfast - just strong coffee, I never feel hungry in the morning. Mind you, if I get a whiff of smokey, crispy bacon wafting around - I could be tempted. I used to eat cold chinese takeaway from the night before too if I had a hangover
PS: you forgot white pudding, black pudding, fruit pudding (yuk!) - see you Jimmy

I'm not a breakfast person either but like to cook for everyone else.
Just thought I'd show you this picture of John preparing the field, he had to cut the grass now that there's no horses to eat it.
Plenty of room to pitch your tent Lutzylugs, gives others a chance to reach the table before you. hehe

I bet John is being a great help to you - he'll think we are all bananas

Thanks for the piccy

Lilo, John is so pleased to know that he isn't alone. Other folk have to put up with nutters in their family too.
I'll tell him to leave the front lawn for you to cut, I can't do it cos my little legs don't reach the pedals.
Btw, John is doing a grand job of setting up the games etc. The prizes are my job so you better look out.

Thanks to Kymmie. No - I think Rose means "Scissors"
Very good exercise, cutting the grass with scissors. Do that Rose, and you can eat all the breakfast you want, without feeling guilty
and then . . . . when you've regained your energy, you can use your scissors to give everyone a hair cut, or cut fabric to make Tartan Allen Whickers for those that want such things ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Is that what you meant

I'm so glad I could be of help to you, with the English language, Rose. It's very difficult, isn't it ? ? ?
No - "Whickers " has nothing to do with string ! ! ! ! ! You must read through many of the other threads to see what people have been writing about. "Allen Whickers" is a British slang term for Knickers, which are old fashioned, heavy under panties - probably a bit like your grandmother wore/wears. We had to wear them to school, They have elastic in the legs, and my mother used to pull them down around my knees to keep me warm. They are ugly, ugly, ugly
I think Mo has promised to make Tartan ones for every one that goes to Ireland, and they'll have pictures of the Wonderland Gang sewn on to them
Hope this explains it to you. Could be cold in N.I. - you may be very glad to have a pair.

That's right ! ! ! ! ! I'd forgotten. The subject came up before, something about a Gold String, and I didn't know what it was. guess I still don't - after all, I grew up in my knickers, brown in the winter, and green in the summer
And now I'm too old for string - what ever colour it is. It must be horribly uncomfortable - think I'll stick to me whickers

What's string and rope got to do with knickers ? ? ? ? ?
You two must stop I can't take anymore
But I'd love to see Auntie Mo, sewing the logo on a string or a rope
Hmmm...... oh where, oh where, will it fit .... nope not there...

You lot have me laughing so hard I'm gonna burst my wicker elastic.
Sorry about the confusion Rose, I thought we were talking about grass so immediately made the wrong assumption. How was I to know that you use a mower for your hair and scissors for the grass?
Don't worry about us understanding one another, we all talk Wonderlandic.
From 'G' strings to 'G' ropes, where will it end?
Yes Laurie Lou, you imagine me sewing all those tartan ropes. John has been trying to picture the scene with me holding needle and thread for a long time.
I come out in a rash when hearing those words.
"There's a button missing from my shirt." ARGH!
Weatherwise, it's very hot here in N. Ireland but next week it could snow.

As for hot weather, it's to hot here to enjoy to pool, the water is as warm as tub water. So I turned the air conditioner on real low & pretended it was winter, got me in the mood to rearrange my house. I rearranged behind furniture, under beds, in closets, you name it it's be rearranged. Heck, if I prentended it was winter any more I'd be putting up the tree
Anyways ladies thanks for the GREAT laughs, I'm sure you will be laughing soo much your ribs & cheeks will hurt.
