Thwart the Thwarts

i have finished the purple shard but i want to know how do i get past this level...
highlight below to see how i did it in the first place:

i used the cheat code

You can shoot thwarts from behind a pilar near the red button!
And from behind the second pilar after the 4 coins.

To activate the green gate, you have to shoot the thwart, then go over your ice path and activate the green time.
