Hall of Shadows & Spikeys in the Dark

These two are driving me up the wall. I can get into the area with the gems, coins and keys for SPIKEYS but I can't get out.
The Hall of Shadows I simply can not figure out.
I have read all the "hints" that are posted and I'm still way in the dark.
I gues my 72 year old brain is just getting to tired.
