Blue Flower?

So I looked through the entire solutions sections for WA, but found nothing on the blue flower or its uses. I know you give it to Loopy in MOFI, but I have no clue what to do with it in the original. Also tried search, no help there either.

ANYONE?

I've beaten the game as well before, but I've been wondering its use.
