I don't mean to be dense, but how can I step on a cyan/blue/lt. blue button if there isn't one there?

Is there a reason why no one will tell me where this button is located. I have been roaming around in this level for days testing star, diamond, round and square buttons on the left side of this level. Yes, I am quite aware that they come in different shapes!!!.

I absolutely refuse to cheat a level, so I'm not a happy camper. All I want to do is now solve the right side of this level.

Pat, this is the cyan button you step on when reaching the scritter/ spikey area to the left. It goes (the gate) up and down as you step on it (or pop it)
After you and un-exploded boomer have reached the shore, you can pop it.

I'm showing up like a bad penny!

All of my buttons on the left are green. In the dark, some things tend to look lt. blue.... is this what you mean by cyan?

If so, are you speaking of the diamond shaped button located 3 spaces below the fireflower?

I can't get the scritters in the right positions to let the spikey thing out to blow up the barrels and the flowers. I'm the one stepping off and on the green button, right? If I get two scritters in the path where the spikey thing is, then they move off that button when I try to get the 3rd one in. If I leave the 3rd one out, then the spikey thing goes in the water. Help!

Here ya go: 2 in with spikey bottom left, and 1 at the top to keep spikey from going into water, thus diverting it left....BOOM/color]

Pat, thanks for the tips, but. . . no matter what I do I can't get those scritters to cooperate. I haven't been able to get one scritter at the top of the "ramp", not to mention two in the pathway with the scritter. I may have to cheat my way out of this one. It's really frustrating.

Well by some strange fluke of luck, I got the spikey to blow up the barrels and I got the unexploded boomer. Sent him across the barrels to safety, but now I'm stuck with no barrels. I've tried having each boomer step on and off each of the 3 mossy buttons, but no barrels come up in that left hand section so I can get out. Help!!

If you're talking about the barrels in the area where the spikey blew them up, hopefully you have at least one scritter left. You can scare him off the button bottom left and back onto it and all the barrels come back up.

however, if your spikey blowing up the barrels also blew up all of your scritters then you'll have to go back. I have a fairly solid way of getting the scritters into the right place to guide the spikey so if you still need help with that, let me know.
