key to the lookout tower

hi everyone! i'm a new member of this forum and i just want to ask for help!!! i already earned 104 stars, found and used all 15 tokens in the arcade. realizing that i'm still missing one star, i traced back what adventure/level i've missed based on mette's list of star locations. i discovered that i haven't gone through the tower maze adventure (#39). my problem is that i already retrieved the key from the stinker in the corn fields but since early on while playing the game i didn't know that the key is suppose to be used to unlock the lookout tower, i mistakenly used it to open the temple ruins entrance (the color of temple ruins gate and the key from teh stinker is purple, so i thought it was the key to that door). i just wondered why it can be used for the temple gate when it is suppose to be the key to the lookout tower. do you have any idea what i need to do? i'm really desperate!! where can i find another key for the tower? i also wonder where's the location of the right key for the temple ruins entrance.

Have you looked in the Ruins for that purple key yet?
Since you haven't used this key to open the door there, it should be there.

Morklin gave you a purple key that had to be used on the entrance to the Ruins.
If you messed things up, it's difficult to track things in the right places.

Strange to use that Morklin key somewhere else. Morklin told you to go with that key to the Ruins. But you went somewhere else and used that key for it.
Maybe you used that purple key in a level. Then you are really stuck I think. And you could be thinking of starting a whole new game.

But let's first wait for other solutions.

i've checked the surrounding area and even within the temple ruins but i haven't seen any purple key. i believe it can never be found within the area since it is needed to open the temple ruins gate. where is the key to the temple ruins gate suppose to be found/located? after acquiring the blue shard, i remember wysp telling me to go back to morklin. morklin told me that i must go to the temple ruins but i don't remember him giving me a key so i guess that's why i used the purple key to open the gate. can anyone tell me where you get the purple key for the temple ruins? is my case a unique one? do i need to start a new game instead rather than trying to find a key that i'm unsure whether it could still be found?

i guess i already figured out where the key went. i think i mistakenly used it to open the purple gate leading to the rainbow pool. i thought the game doesn't allow a key to be used in a gate that is not meant for it. (this was true for different colors obviously) but for same gate and key color, it can be used. oh my, i felt so stupid!!! i guess i just have to start all over again. thanks anyway!!

The purple key for the purple gate of the Ruins you get from Morklin after you got the shard at the Foggy Mountains.
You have used this key somewherelse in your game. Maybe somewhere in an Adventure. I don't know where we picked up a purple key in an Adventure. Or you haven't picked it up in an Adventure. Have you been cheating somewhere? Or haven't you picked everything up then?
When you cheat during playing a level, you leave everything behind such as keys and coins.

When you want to start a new game, please save your latest savegames to another locating on your computer. If we come up with a better solution for you, you can start your old game right away, instead of playing your new game furter.

You could try going back to Morklin and make sure that you have asked him everything that is available to ask? It could be that the question for him to give you the pink key still hasn't been asked by you?

I'm looking in the ruins right now, and I can't find ANY keys.

EDIT: Restart your game. I did, and it is definitely easier the second time.

NOTE:There is a purple key near the Creeky keep.That's the stinker is stinding,not the moving one.
