I am at the point (I know, I'm slow ~ I've been "Returning to Ravenhurst also!!!") where I can either go to the Heart of the Jungle or The Ascent. Which direction should I go first?
Also, I have gotten three peices of the map and I don't see how they are a help unless I don't know how to use it?
Thanks for any input!

Well Ms. Happylane,
Heart of the Jungle is part of the jungle area. It's a fairly difficult level, but there is a lot of help around here if you need it. Once you've played it, the only thing left to do in order to move on is The Ascent.
The Ascent takes you up into the mountain where you will find another 6 or so Canyon adventures and the story can continue past there. You can always go back and do Heart of the Jungle Later.
The Ascent is a little rough at times, too. So as far as difficulty goes, it's a toss up. Kind of depends on if you like to finish off whole areas at a time, or progress through the story.
As for the map, it's not really interactive. It has many key areas that you can see on there like waterfalls and a few paths, the camp, etc, etc... So, as you get farther into the island, it may help you remember where you area and where you've been. Or, it may not help at all.
What I don't know is if there is any super secret bonus to having collected all of the map parts. But, after a while you'll have enough money that buying them won't be a problem and as you get more and more of them, they all take up the same slot in your inventory, so it's not like it's a huge waste of space.
My first time through, I collected all Map parts. My other times through, I collected the free ones first and went back and bought the others later.
Hope that helps.
