Wop Requests: Real Command Buttons
I would like Square buttons that act like Commands(CMDs) in Red, Orange, Blue and Green.
Basically, CMDs that look like square buttons.

To Shorty, who was immortalized in an adventure.
To Marinus, who was my community older brother.
To Janet, who I will remember every time I wear a toque.
May these lost Wonderlanders find true adventure beyond us.

I don't see why you're going to all of this trouble when you can just use the flip glitch. All you have to do is:
1. Place a button
2. Click on "Flip X"
3. Place the General Command on the same tile as the button
4. Click on "Flip X" again and you're done!
Both the button and general command will work when you step on the tile. Besides, the button will actually become pressed. Here's a test adventure that proves the concept:
1. Place a button
2. Click on "Flip X"
3. Place the General Command on the same tile as the button
4. Click on "Flip X" again and you're done!

Wait a little.
I'm not sure if a colored square button will work, but how about a small x visible in player?
*testing wops*
The square button(or any colored button) don't work because Color adjustment from button wop coincide with the Data 1,2,3,4 from the GC Button.
*testing more*
Everything is possible in wonderland (except the red button)!
I discovered that you can make the GC permanently,by placing an image with a GC in the cvuupot1.wdf,at position 0F (15,So place it in the 16 th space) or make it visible just in some adventures,or just some buttons visible in adventure,by placing this wdf file in your editor\Graphics\ and downloading this wop.
Enjoy!

When I want to make button activate a GC, I make a mechanism.
Eg. I want to make red button teleport me somewhere after pressing. So, I make the red button normally, and go next to border wall, then I add ultrafast spikeyball trapped by the red gate, and after opening the gate it pushes GC. After that, I hide the mechanism under floor-logic wall. After pressing the button it goes dark and teleports me. Looks good and works.

That's the solution for a Square GC button.Pawelec wrote:When I want to make button activate a GC, I make a mechanism.

I like your idea Pawelec!
