Dialog Question

Post by mqdar » Mon Nov 19, 2007 8:17 pm

Sometimes in the Wonderland Adventures game you can click an answer
on a dialog when you're talking to a stinker and then the stinker walks
somewhere. Is this possible in the editor?

Yes. I don't know how to do it, I just know it's possible. :P

Dlcs18 has done this before. See for example in dlcs13.

Cos what you can see in the screenshot: I'm walking towards the red gate, while the stinker is walking too.

This is of course not what you asked but I'll guess dlcs18 will answer your question !

Yes, that level uses a Button for "NPC move command"
You can't do that with an NPC dialog, you can only do General Commands with the Dialogs. So there must be another way that I haven't figured out yet how to make someone move after talking to them.
In the first area in my level "Trapped in the Void... Or not" I would have made the stinker move straight after talking to him. But since there's no "NPC move" thing in Dialogs, you had to get an item triggering a button.
PS: I've created longer posts.

Data 3 = Y where?
Data 4 = -1

Huh? Darshan already figured that out like months ago. You just brought back up an old topic that was made when we didn't know how to do it.
