Why don't you just wait for WA3? Everyone else is. WA will most certainly more active when the new editor comes out.

That's only four people though; not much of a contest. Besides, think of all the new goodies you'd have with a new editor!

Mostly everyone is waiting for WA3 now, myself included... There's really not much left to do with the current editor that hasn't been done already.

So I'm in the boat of waiting until WA3 for the next contest. Remember that making the contest more frequent will actually lessen overall participation anyway.

I'm certain that there's still plenty left you can do, you just have to stretch your imagination a little bit.

Oh really? I don't think so. There are so many undiscovered things in the Editor... Just search and find something - I found and now I'm doing some research about it. Let it be a secret until I release the adventure...

The fact that we're at the point where we (usually) have to exploit the game engine to come up with something new is a bad sign in itself.

The problem is that adventure creation has become more taxing than fun in terms of coming up with new ideas. I agree with you though.

Waccs are level making competitions that have different rules and challenges in each one.
The winner of the 1st one gets to host the 2nd one, the winner of that gets to host the 3rd one, etc, etc

What makes you think that? There hasn't been a WACC in over 9 months, and the WACC on this topic got 5 entries. The only person we know doesn't want to do WACCs is Emerald.
