What Does White Magic Do (colour 7)?

Post by md »

White magic (colour 7)

What does white magic do?
Image

If you check to see what magic power it is by going into your items and clicking on your magic gloves, it will say: "These gloves are charged with 'Pop' power".

Instead of 'Pop' magic, it says 'Pop' power.

I think it should be PermaBrr for the player (but that would be really, really difficult to change).

So what does it do? :?
Does anyone know? :?

Thanks! :D

I thought so, but why did MS make it say "These gloves are charged with 'Pop' power"? :?

Also, is it possible to change it to PermaBrr for the player? :?

Thanks! :D

1. MS did not mean to include white at all. He probably forgot to scrap it completly and when he began programming had copied the Pop code.

2. There is only PermaBrr in MOFI, which is the normal Brr.

So if you used white magic in an adventure, just say your gloves are charged with blink, but you don't want the player to use blink anymore, so you make the player step on the white magic, which does nothing, to get rid of the blink. :D

That would be pretty mush the only way it could be used in an adventure. :)

EDIT: You could hex-edit the wg.exe file and change it to say, "These gloves are charged with 'Nul' magic." or something like that.

Or just say "These gloves are charged with nothing!"

EDIT2: Is there a way to disguise magic powers? :?

That's old news; People have actually been using white magic for a while.

That's because the Iceflower shot itself.

White Magic has been explained, it doesn't do anything.

The only good use White Magic (or, Null) is used for is to remove glove charges, because it doesn't do anything.
