New Adventure: The Northeastern Forest Part 1

Post by Wonderman109 » Wed Aug 01, 2012 6:09 pm

My seventh adventure and the first part of my tennis match with Derp.

Requires the Night Forest texture, posted below.

Enjoy! :D

I don't get it. Why bother making a nighttime texture when you can just set the light to make it look like that, plus, everything will look dark.

I get it. Though I only think a town night texture is necessary, which MNIK/me/someone else made a while back, since towns have artificial lighting.

I didn't make this texture...but I know what you mean.
The point is that the forest texture has darker floors, which I needed,
but not darker walls. The night forest texture has that, so I used it for one specific wlv.

Have you played the level though? :)

Now I have. The question is, how do you know you're still in the Northeast forest at the end?

That's the one thing about the storyline I couldn't figure out how to fix.

The only way to tell is that the grass is still damp and dark.

Anyways, could I get a grading?

It looks really weird because of the contrast between the leveltexture and the objects (like the houses, player, etc), though. It would be much better to just use the normal lighting functions.
