Okay I'll get on topic. Last year that happened to me a few times. I actually had no idea how it happened. I go on the internet, click on something random, all of a sudden the computer detects a threat, then I have to take it for repairs, wait a while before it comes back, then get it back. But I don't have to worry about that because I have this Kaspersky Internet Security program that doesn't let stuff like that happen. You should get that if you don't want to see this.

Now something else. After a month or two with Kaspersky I see more threat detected windows. My Kaspersky was on when that happened. Then at school I realize it was a trick into making you buy the software used to destroy threats. I also found a program to make these windows go away called Malwarebytes' Anti Malware. I have that so I don't have to worry about these windows too. Maybe that the case.

Also, Before I got Windows 7, I discovered that Microsoft supports a VIRUS! IT SUPPORTS A FAKE ANTIVIRUS! Oh, and thanks to tyteen for helping out with that.

Google the virus to find out what it is and how to get rid of it.

That's what I do and I can get rid of viruses manually.

Viruses are usually initiated from inside the computer registry, so if you can find it in the registry and delete it, then that will probably fix it (although you can break your computer if you do something wrong).

Not really, it is just the webpage that is faking you.

@MNIK: A registry is an option. Windows loads the options and deal with them. They don't directly 'load' a virus, but if it contains a link to a virus and Windows load them carelessly, boom.

That's not what I mean!
In Microsoft Security, it detected a virus, and It scanned with many Anti-viruses, including AVG and the virus. I just happened to choose to download the virus.

Bump. Why would that happen?
Before, I thought that sending my music to the computer was a stupid idea, as the hardrive outlived the one I sent it to, but now that I got a new hardrive, THE MUSIC IS SAVED THANKS TO THE POWER OF OLD EMAILS!
