Three Users requesting un-banning: asking for comments
Posted: Wed Apr 06, 2011 1:27 pm

Hello,
I'm putting this here, since it will likely affect the off-topic forum most. Three users that were banned from the forum for various issues have requested being allowed back to the forum.
I'm considering these requests, but would like to hear any comments from you. Either post (keep it civil) or e-mail me (if you wish to keep your comments private).
The users are: eee226, arvis36, Deeman223344

Hello
I would recommend to give those people another chance. I don't know about Arvis, but for the other two people I guess it will be at least a
third chance.
So in my opinion it will be good if they come back to the forum, but under certain conditions, the first x months as like a test, and if they behave the same way as the reason they were banned, that they will have more chance to be banned again.
I'm not sure if it's appreciated that I mention those reasons here, but to make myself clear, I'm doing it though, as far as I know or can think what those reasons were (I hope it's civil

):
EEE: Lots of spamposts and new topics which most people didn't like, including the use of 2 accounts, acting like they were 2 different people.
Deeman: Acting in a negative way about some other people, keep talking about bad things other people (perhaps) did, several months or longer ago, and demanding how other people should behave, for no reason.
Well, as long as those things will not happen again, I will not talk about it more, and those people can stay on the forum, in my opinion.

Here's my opinion.
arvis36: I'd give him another chance if he apoligizes and pays for the games he pirated.
eee226: I'd unban him in a few months and tell him that this is his last chance. If he still posts too much spam than he isn't mature enough for this forum.
Deeman223344: He posted lots of rude, inappropriate and silly posts even though he was warned several times. I think he's too immature for our forum.

I think that they should all(except Deeman, maybe. I'm thinking about that) be given another chance.

Well, as for arvis36, I believe that should be your own choice Patrick. After all, your the one who made Wonderland.

But I guess it would be okay to let eee226 and Deeman223344 back to the forum. I think they have been banned for long enough and hopefully will not cause any more disruptions.
However just to be safe, I would keep a close eye on Deeman223344 for awhile. I don't think the mods (especially Qloof

) want to put up with him anymore if he's still going to act the way he did before.

I think we should "unban" Eee226 and DEEMAN223344 if they are mature (by now). If not, then I think we should wait "another amount of time" and see if they are mature by then.
In the mean time, I think we should ban Sammy_P for how he disgraced himself on June 27th 2015. Out with the Nichols.

Even Deeman account is banned he visit the forum.
I saw his name(Deeman) in the list with scores at Master Wonder Mage's quiz.
I think he miss the forum.
But I have a question.
Why he was banned?

You know, I'm starting to get tired of editing my old past posts. Just, uh, stop reading this topic so you don't have to read them okay?
Just kidding, do whatever the heck you want. Why would you be reading this old topic anyways?

Every single time Deeman has been banned, it hasn't made a difference, regardless of being on a Skype chatroom or this forum. He never learns and he certainly doesn't act his age...
As for eee/arvis, you could wait a little longer before unbanning them so they'll be more mature when they return.

Actually, I was the one who told MS about eee226 wanting to come back...
Dont think badly of me!
He's gotten better and you can say hi to him at the Noob Free World fourms, but you have to register and hope to get into his forum. A link to NFW is in my sig.

eee226: I honestly don't know what to think about him. Almost all of his topics were spam, and even when that was pointed out or the topics locked, he didn't seem to pay heed to it. Not to mention registering another account to spam with in order to increase perception of him (Additionally I personally thought his signature was offensive for this forum). If he has actually reformed properly, then yeah, I can agree with unbanning him.
Deeman223344: Well, he was supposed to be banned for 3 months, right? Has it been that long yet? Even if it has, I don't think we should - he's been suspended before for the same reason, and every time someone points out that his behavior's unacceptable he'll either deny it, change the subject, or say "look I fixed it kthx leave me alone" before acting the same way again. In fact, right after being banned this time, he claimed on the ToonTown forums that it was "unfair" and there was no reasoning behind it - if he hasn't figured it out and is going to be that arrogant about it, then I don't think he's welcome here.
Arvis36: The only thing I remember him doing wrong is pirating the games, right? I'd say that we should ask him to pay for them properly or uninstall his pirated copies, and once he does we unban him.

Technos, agreed, but Patrick was talking about people who requested to be unbanned. Perhaps ^^^^ did not request. But if he would request, I would recommend to let him come back. (but also to change his username into a normal name like John, Jan...)
StinkerS, Hi to EEE (he still can
read this forum.
As for some other people talking about Deeman; I'm not going that far as some other people do, saying he should not come back, however, I have my doubts. I remember it happen some times that he posted things, which were spam in my opinion. Well perhaps not always small, but at least pointless and annoying, such as "DUN DUN DUN", NYO NYA NYU, or messy Skype quotes like this:
http://www.pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic ... 95&start=4 (and the other of his posts in the same topic) and then, when I or someone else asked for an explanation, he didn't give a good one, ignored it and the same happened again a while later.
So beside what I said in my other post; my suggestion: Let him be responsible for such posts, so either a very good explanation, or saying such as: "Sorry, it was a mistake to post that". (and then it should not happen again.)

I haven't read any of the topic(yet) but thr first post. I don't know if someone has allready said this...anyway, eee has been hanging out at my forums(for NFW. Lol, I have like 6). He's matured, and he's been promising that when he gets back he won't spam at all.

I had some personal chats on this matter with deeman, and he seems pretty fine at the moment. He needs to be more patient and he's OK.

Oh yeah. MS, SS01 mentioned this to you in the PM, that you need to make a account and hope to get into the forum to see his posts. I would make you a account and let you in(Wow. Admins have a LOT of power! So many options...), if you want to see them. I'd need your e-mail, though...

LOL
Sorry, my apologize, only LOL would make a spam post. But, to be honest; I don't think that Patrick is going to join your forum to read EEE's posts there. (I guess you were talking about EEE, not sure though)
Besides, it's not about people's posts on your forum, but their posts on
this forum. Therefore I recommended to let those people come back as a test, so they have the possibility to prove that they've changed.

But it seems he doesn't need to register, for I can see some topics on your forum and also the memberlist, without being a member.
But from someone's profile, I don't see a way to view his/her posts, like on this forum. I can see EEE on the memberlist, but didn't see his posts, however, I can see some other people's posts.

There are 3 forums you need "passes" to see. EEE's forum, where his posts are, is one of them.

Thanks, I understand. The forums I was able to see are public, for everyone to read, but what EEE so all has to say is secret, and only for registered members

Who have a "pass" to his forums.

I guess that's about the same as: being member of a usergroup, right? The same way like the mods on our forum can read and write on a subforum that we can't see.
So, let's see: EEE is asking Patrick to unban him. If Patrick wants to see that EEE is behaving better, he must first join your forum (OK, you already have done that, because you knew his emailadress) and then he also must get access to EEE's group/forums.
Well, lucky for him that I'm not Patrick.
