Zee-Bot vs Zed-Bot

Americans pronounce the letter Z as "zee".
Most other people pronounce Z as "zed".
Of course, Wonderland contains creatures called Z-Bots, and there's even an entire game named after them!
But which one is correct? Zee-bot or Zed-bot?
I am British and I say "zed" but I still call them "zee-bots" for some reason. I guess it sounds better that way.

I'm Canadian and I pronounce Z as Zed. Zee-bot sounds better however because with Zed there's a consonant right after it. "Zed-bot" sounds kinda hard to pronounce.

Canadian here as well, and I go with "zed" and "zee-bots". "Zee" flows a lot more naturally.

As Midnight Synergy is an American developer (I believe), I'm assuming he meant for it to be pronounced "Zee-Bot."

I'd say he's not American, and my only evidence of this is that he spells colour instead of color in the games (and the editor for that matter).

I believe he once said that he lives in Canada, but I'm not sure if that was supposed to be real. What I mean is he once said:
We're actually all over the place. I'm located in Canada myself (cue "Blame Canada" soundtrack), but other team members have been in as varied locations as New York, New York and Maputo, Mozambique!
He always was an independent game developer, so "team member" is the wrong word here, and most importantly, I could be really wrong and I don't want to sound offensive, but Mozambique is a heavily underdeveloped country, and it's very unlikely there might be many people there into game development.

All that is known is that a lot of his games were physically published in German, and the original Wonderland is available in English, German, and French. I really hate to just assume like that, but he could have lived in or near Germany at some point.
