The server just glitched and had to be rebooted. Bit of a delay since I didnt' notice it right away.

Sorry to bump, but has anyone been having any issues lately?
I've been getting random MySQL errors (2002 connection refused and 2006 server has gone away) and slow loading.
Seems to have started within the past few days. :?:

2006 server has gone away
The Forum itself has begun to struggle with the passage of time.

Before it fails completely, I hope writers can preserve their creations somehow.

What do you mean by writers?
All levels and guides are backed up semi regularly onto the archive. I personally collect newer ones that are not in the archive just in case.
If you mean stuff like the old roleplay topics from years ago, I imagine that anyone who found those valuable has found some way to collect them, although I don't personally see a great deal of value in storing hundreds of pages of such.

Like, maybe record them to something like Google Drive?

I know that someone did a forum backup a year or two or sometime ago but I don't know where they have it stored. Though there's way more merit to archiving Wonderland-based content I feel — it anyone bothers backing up specifically off-topic then fine, but I try not to look at anything written by me on the pre-2011 OT board. Really anything pre-2016 on this board alone.

WRT the old forum game threads, like... The obvious one is the old 400+ page Wefight thread and that's pretty much completely lost; but as time goes on I'm fine with some of it remaining buried (mostly just the embarassing messages).
