Few smaller hubs or a big one?

Post by Pawelec » Sat Mar 15, 2014 12:15 pm

Like in title, what do you think is better? Telling a complex story in a series of hubs or in a big one?

Smaller hubs are easier to manage during the designing phase, but they require to be played in order. Also, there's less interaction possible between early and late story elements, as the whole thing is divided into parts.

So what do you think about it?

I would personally find it easier to make a few small hubs, but it's your decision.

Yeah, I know, but I have absolutely no idea which solution to choose. That's why I'm asking what you think

Well, I am personally going all-out for a massively over-sized hub, as is; but, I don't know, maybe you could give these different hubs a try. :)

It might actually help you in the long term; you could stop production with enough hubs set in stone.

I like the idea of one big one. :)
