Showing turn directions

As some of you may know, I'm heavily redoing the way meshes are created and textured in the game in order to remove differences between the editor and player (I intend to merge them into a single .exe at some point so you can playtest directly in the editor mode) and to allow more objects respond to custom texture and scale adjust parameters.

There are also some simple additions coming like an option to make Transporters turn left/right like Pushbots. I've made them display the turning direction with arrows like it's done for Pushbots, the problem is while it's a new feature for Transporters it was already there for Conveyors which use the same model. Conveyors did not show their turning direction before and I assume one could use that as a puzzle element (the player doesn't know which way the Conveyor would turn unless they hit something) so my question is: should I enable showing the turn direction as a default or make it optional?
