Had a nice trip, although it started to feel like a long drive about the time we hit west Texas. It was more than 100 degrees and the 1976 Malibu we were driving has no air conditioning, so we had to stop early that day and soak in a cool pool! Also stayed in Fort Myers Beach, and the water was so warm it felt almost like a bathtub. Great swimming! Also had a very good time in New Orleans.
It's a simple drive, really. Just take I-75 north in Florida until you hit I-10, and then take that all the way to Santa Monica. It was nearly 1000 miles (1600 kilometers) just going across Texas, about 2800 (4500 km) for the whole trip. Ah, glad to be home!
I sure was looking forward to coming home to the new version of Wonderland, but I've caught up on a few threads and I see there is a delay. Oh heck, but of course we do want to give Patrick enough time to put out the best product he can, so I'll be content to wait until it's ready.
