Just had to jump in on this one......I LOVE to have my feet tickled. My mom used to tickle my brothers and my feet to get us to go to sleep. :D

Me too, Eeyore.

I just can't find anyone who's keen to do it for me. My mum was always
willing, because she loved it too. When we were kids she used to bribe us.

A favourite game was writing messages on her back, and she had to guess what they said. Sure did tickle good ! ! ! ! !

Eeyore, my mom used to tickle my feet to get me giggling. Even when I was upset it worked. I could never go to sleep when she was doing that. She used to rub and pat my back. That worked every time.
When I was pregnant with my daughter, she'd started start moving around and kicking a lot. I could usually find her bottom, so I'd start patting it. It calmed her down every time. After she was born, she was screaming at the top of her lungs when the nurses brought her to me. They were trying their best to quiet her and couldn't do it. I took her from them and started patting her bottom and she stopped immediately. They were so amazed! You know, it still works! :)

Hi Ann and Sharon :D

I'm glad my family isn't the only "weirdos" that like feet tickled. That is what my brothers wife calls us. Yeah, my dad used to pay me a quarter for making pictures on his back. Oh.......that wonderful quarter.....I could go down to the "postoffice/general store and get a soda pop, a banana popsickle and a whole little bag of penny candy with that.
Now those were the good ol days :D

Yes they were. I can remember going to the movies for a quarter or going skating at the rink. I also remember picking up soda (pop) bottles and taking them into the store for the deposit so that we could by a soda. And they tasted better too. They were in glass! We were recycling before they invented the word.

Yes they did taste better!!!!! I don't even like pop anymore----maybe a root beer once in awhile. I can still get orange pop in glass but they cost a fortune!!!! My cousin and I always picked up pop bottles too....that kept us in candy most of the time :D

Oh and don't even get me started on 8-track tapes. At least when they broke, you could fix them. Oh the memories....................

(now I'll slowly turn and crawl back into my rocking chair and pick up my knitting)

Just go shopping at WallyMart - they'll give you lots of bags.
You just have to be careful if you take your knitting anywhere.
It's better to carry your needled under your arm.
Wouldn't want to poke holes in your nice new bags.

That's okay, I have a needle wallet. But that doesn't help the poor cats. they look like someone hogtied them in a crazy cat rodeo.   (If you can't tell, Ann, I'm just being my silly self. The cats are fine and the yarn is in its bag.)

You're lucky, Sharon.

My cat would rather be in the bag, and he doesn't care where the yarn is.
He's not into playing with it, he just thinks the knitting bag should be his.

I make baby blankets that I'm thinking of selling at a craft sale for Christmas,
but I'm afraid to think how much kitty fur is knitted up in them.

People that I've given them to have always said how nice and warm they are.
If only they knew ! ! ! ! !

Mine like bags too. Actually anything plastic or paper. They like yarn too. I always roll mine into balls, so if I drop one it goes rolling and they chase it and usually get tangled up in it. There's nothing sillier looking than a cat tangled up in yarn. They get this "How did I get in here" look.  Cracks me up every time.
The baby blankets sound nice. Hope they don't purr!   Just kidding. Selling some for Christmas would be a nice way to to get some extra cash. I always wash and block my stuff before it goes out of the house. If you do that, you can usually avoid problems with allergies.
