Oops, no popo. OK, thread has been appropriately edited. Sorry about that, now I see that while she did post in this thread, she didn't say she wanted to be a party to this lil' bit of sport.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it! Now I still have to get someone to snap a new photo of me. (Here I am, married to a professional photographer and I have zillions of photos of myself -- but most of them are not digital and I don't have a scanner, and he's a Mac guy and it's nearly impossible to even get him at his computer when he's not working and ... oh, it's complicated but it seems the easiest thing will be to just have someone take a quick little photo on my amateur digital camera. Perhaps he will do this for me on Sunday if I say pretty-please, or maybe my kid will do it. If not, I'll just take the darn thing myself!)

Would littlejg be able to participate? I could submit photos of TWO kids and the others could guess which one he is. He would get a real hoot out of this.

Now.........hmmmmmmmmmmm do we post on this thread or another? And do we have to have them all in by Saturday this week or do we have a week or so to come up with the guesses and post them? If we have to have them in very soon, I'm going to have trouble getting them all done. I'll do my best.

As to the picture, I don't have one either, except one that was taken as part of a family group about three years ago. I might be able to edit the others out and submit it. Or do you want a snapshot? Don't have any of those either. Told you I hate pictures of myself!

Sharon,

I will open a new thread on Saturday, that is when the "guessing" starts.

The photographs will follow when everyone has given their views.

This will take time, Jen has to sort out all the pictures, set up a web site etc, etc.

We all seem to be in agreement to, wait for malcdelsol and Jan to return home.
That being the case then, you have plenty of time to get or edit a picture.

We can work on a viewing date within the next week or so.

Don't forget, that's not the end of the fun!

Guessing the pics will be a riot.

P.S. If it helps any, I detest getting my picture taken too!

Don't mind if I'm unaware of it but, posing is not my scene!

I better start working on my guesses now. I'm taking tomorrow off I'll add to my list of things to do. Once all or at least most of the guesses are in (at least mine). I'll PM everyone as to where to send the pictures. After all is done I'll send the link to where you can view them. Please note I'll only send the link to those that send me their picture to make things fair.
Sound OK?
I also don't mind doing some editing on peoples pictures to cut out other people.

I don't know whether it Friday or I just missed the plot somewhere but when you say guessing, do you mean putting up clues about ourselves??

I kind of get that vaugue impression if the pictures don't show up till later. Or do you mean guessing what we think each other looks like?

We have to guess what everyone looks like.

You know, sometimes you talk on the phone, or reply to a post and get a mental picture of the person.
Well, that's all you have to do!

Hair colour, build, height, that sort of thing.

I should say here girls that while I have no probs posting a pic of my gorgeous self, I'm not any good at guessing what people look like, so I'll probably skip on that side if no-one objects.

Anyway, you all know what I think you look like; a bunch of little old ladies like the pics of the 'Gaming Grannies'.

Ill-mannered me, cannot resist sticking my tongue out when a photo's getting taken.

Maybe Bear is right about that long tongue!

Just thought I would run this past you, see what you all think.

When this comp is over, what about guessing the partners?

All we would have to do is, send the pics of our partners and we guess who belongs to whom!

We could call it Mr and Mrs....... or Partner Me.

Good Heavens! We haven't even started Picture Me? and you're off to the races on the next

First, I know the discriptive part of Picture Me? starts tomorrow, but could you give us something like 5 or 6 specific questions like:

1. Hair and Eyes...... Brown and blue, wears glasses.
2. Height and Build... Tall and thin
3. Dress.................. Blue Jeans and Sweatshirts
4. Personality............Bold and Daring
5. Age......................32
6. Male/Female..........Male

The answers could be as long or short as they care to make them, But at least this way everyone would be using the same format. And it would give us a way to grade/score the guesses. Say 3 points a question? You wouldn't have to say where they were right or wrong, just say that their guess was a 9 out of 18?

I am complicating things? I know some organized people already have their thoughts ready to post at dawn.............

What say you?

I got a wicked thought in my head when you put hair and eyes...
Brown and Blue. Bear would have said "Blue hair and Brown eyes"
