They were doing so well but, It's all over!

Congratulations to Portugal.

To the folk who don't know what I'm talking about...

We have had the Euro 2004 football competition going on.

Nothing else on television only football, football.

The host country was Portugal and last night they knocked England out of
the competition.

Poor Roo, lost a shoe!

This was one of the best players, Wayne Rooney (18) I felt so sorry for him.

Never mind England, there's always next time.

At least you got to the quarter finals!

To the English ladies (who DO NOT like football) at least we will have our television back again!

That referee was an absolute disgrace, you should see the british media today, especialy the tabloids. We should have won at the end of the 2nd half, stupid referee. I think the BBC pundits summed it up the best "he's supposed to be a world class referee, and he makes a cockup like that"
Disgracefull.

And don't get me started on that penalty spot, it wasn't even fixed to the pitch! it was horrible. *sigh*

We have lost 5/6 of our last penalty shootouts, Beckham has missed his last 3 penalties. Doh!

Yes, and there might be something else to read about in the paper too.

I actually watched the penalties last night, that's probably why they lost.
