How Many Levels are There?

Out of curiosity, I'm wondering if any of you folks who have completed the entire game can tell me how many levels there are all together?

I have only completed about 20 levels, but my son (who usually posts under this username) has done about 60. He tells me that there is a gate which will only open if you have 104 gold stars.

So, obviously, there must be at least 104 levels. Are there 109 like in "Secret Worlds"?

I haven't completed the game, but I've heard that there are 105 stars in the whole game.

There are a total of 105 stars available, however, not all stars are received as part of a level. A few are given to you.
