New Visual - A Moving Model Illusion (Adv)
New Visual - A Moving Model Illusion (Adv)
This model I made is strange, when you move left and right, it looks like it's spinning when you're moving!
BTW: There IS an exit in the level, it's just not shown in the pics.
BTW2: If you have a screen resolution like mine, you will have to use the left and right scrollbars to see all of the pic.

Yes it is a nice visual but easy to explain.

Still, it looks really good. The normals for the model are the wrong way round, so instead of seeing the outside of the box we're seeing the inside walls only. So when you're at the right side of the model you can't see the outside of the right hand wall but can see the inside of the left hand wall. As you move across to the left the inside of the right hand wall becomes visible and the outside of the left hand wall disappears. You are never seeing the top of the box because the outside is invisible so at any one time you can only see 3 inside walls, the back the bottom and the left or right side.

Following on from the moving box illusion, I made a dragon that follows you with it's eyes.
Remember the optical illusion in one of the Midnight Posts of a little cardboard dragon that looks at you no matter what position it's in? It uses the 'hollow face' illusion.
You need to use Alt-X and get down level with Loof to see it at it's best.
Feel free to use the model in a level if you want.
Enjoy.

Darn that would be so cool to use......Popo can you make a cannon that follows you, or a Parrot, or something Piratey? For Liz of course hehehe certainly not for me since I'm still a goober when it comes to making levels.
