New Level - The Cherry Tree

Post by majic1 » Sun Feb 22, 2004 10:55 pm

It's George Washington's birthday, so thought I'd make a level in the shape of a cherry tree! Just a silly little level!

Another fun one Majic...you really are good at this. I liked the size, good for a shorter time play but still a challenge; I didn't burn the dinner.

I didn't pick any cherries while I was there, even tho I didn't see a sign that said I shouldn't.

Oh thank you! Finally a small one from me, huh!! Mine ALWAYS end up too big - always start out small, keep adding things on & the next thing I know, I've done another BIG level! I get tooooooo carried away sometimes!!

The large ones are good when you know you have enough time to play them.

Nothing worse that sailing along and then you look at the clock and you have to quit right in the middle.

Do you make these quite quickly, with them falling into place in your mind, or do you plan them out ahead?
I have happy accidents.

Usually starts out with one little idea, then just keep adding to it. And then SOMETIMES, I start with an idea, start the level, and then just sit & stare at the screen because my mind has gone BLANK! (DEFINITELY a sign of age!) At that point, I know it's time to go PLAY some Wonderland!

Hi majic1,
Great level. Yes it is smaller, but equally fun. I work differently. I start with a size in mind and then do my best to fit what I'm doing into it. I sometimes have to add a row or two, but generally am able to stick about the size I envisioned. That's me,, plodding and methodical. Maybe I need to try it your way and see what happens! It couldn't hurt. :)

Okay, but watch out - they DO tend to get BIG this way!! Your way probably makes more sense! Actually, I really have TRIED to keep them a certain size, but it seems I always think of something else I want to add that takes more room so I have to add more space, etc., etc., etc.!!!! I MUST control myself :!:

Another great level !!!!! Just enough tension to keep me on my toes, but able to finish. I love it !!!!

Sometimes I just start putting up walls and see what happens----other times I use graph paper to get the most of it down, then touch it up. Yes, it's very hard to quit 'adding' to a level. I do that if I think it's too easy. :D

This one is very fun! I thought I had it a minute ago, only to get caught by a Z-Bot when trying to get the coin in their corner.

Hey, I just noticed that Majic1 is a "Rainbow Seeker!"
