New Level - Peegue Poser A

Post by malcdelsol » Sat Jan 08, 2005 6:31 pm

Hi Wonderlanders,

Here is another Peegue Poser - Level 10 :?

If you would also like to have a go at solving the in-level poser question then you will need to take a quick sketch of the attatched pic

Good Luck,

I can't believe how easy this was once you knew the red herings, and there were plenty of them. I only used 2 deflectors, was that your intention? A great thinker, thanx.

Bonus coins are the answer. I am not sure what Pat means by red hering!???? I know the answer to the poser question because I've seen it before, so I will not post it. Wonder who can get it first? - maybe Roger????

was that your intention?

I would like to know that to - I used 3 deflectors, and got no help from the UFO or the kanon   :D

This one was almost toooo easy......so where did I go wrong here :!: :!: :P

Hi All,

You didn't go wrong - it was a silly level really that I created whilst listening to the footie on the internet yesterday

I bet someone spent a good few minutes trying to move the reflectors into position though.

It takes 3 reflectors - not too sure how it can be done with only 2

Sometimes the kaboom will blow up the 2nd box.

I managed to do the level. Quite easy when I finally saw through the trickery :P 8) :P I needed 3 reflectors too.

Tried the train puzzle, and thought I had the solution, but got right to the end of it and couldn't put the train in the siding. Will keep trying your Lordship.

EASY PEASY for a change

Malc - we have the answer to your poser (I think):

1. Train out of sidings, pull carriage B down and push into sidings.

2. Train then goes anti-clockwise round track, and pushes carriage A to position B.

3. Move train back to bottom of track and pull carriage B out of sidings and leave on the bottom of the track. Train continues round track clockwise pushes carriage A up next to carriage B.

4. Send the train round the track in the other direction (anti-clockwise), as it comes to the bottom then push both carriages into the sidings - A will go into the sidings first, B second.

5. Pull carriage B out of the sidings and round to position A. Train carries on round the track. Pull carriage A out of the sidings and push round to position B.

6. The train can then go back down from that position and into the sidings!

(That was from Stan the Ram  )

Hi Lillian,

Yes the level was a bit easy but I suppose it made a change from me

YES YES - Congrats to 'Stan the Man' for solving the train poser question

In essence you have to couple up wagons A & B at bottom of track or in the siding and put B back were it started so as to be able to get A in the siding by itself

Thanks for playing,

Cheers Malc - I will tell him tonight. He was a bit "worried" (get a life  ) that one couldn't push two trains at the same time.

Good results on Saturday. Shame about our goal at Man United    The draw is today - we might get each other

I didn't have anything to do with it Liz  I was playing your Kaboom level and "him indoors" was sitting next to me doing the poser - he's an ageing punk rocker (well 40 this March) with a Mr Logic head on his shoulders

Do any of your family support Watford Liz? My husband's team (Derby County) drew them in the FA Cup today.

That was neat.
I did it the easy way first (I know what you need to do for 2 reflectors, but 3 is faster and easier) so then I decided to try and see if the hard way is possible and... it is! Can be done as a reflector puzzle too. So you get 2 levels in 1 here!

This one was so easy I didn't comment on it, but Malc's levels did get more complex in time. Glad more people play them now.

The other ones are surprisingly difficult and just like Mark's levels, they don't look like they should be this hard... they just are.

I think Malc has made some of the harder levels in WSW in The Void, too...

When I first started designing levels 7 years ago, a poster by the name of Bear, asked me if I an alias for macdelsol. Personally, I think Malc's puzzles are much more challenging.
