The Beacon Block, yes, and it doesn't have to be emerald blocks. It can be iron, gold, or diamond too.

The block provides 8-second buffs when in range, and that range depends on how many layers the pyramid formation it needs to function has. It is somewhat useless on survival mode, but I can see it being useful for healing and some sort of power-up station in adventure maps or something.

You don't need no-ip. Just port forward in the router and give everybody your public IP inside an image.

Anybody can find out the ip under the no-ip anyway.

Meh. I'm losing interest in changing the time of day and season following real world time. So biome colors for my are back to normal

Anyway I tried my hand at making an HD Pony skin of Twilight Sparkle, but when I used a downgraded guide for making a pony skin, some things are out of place. The skin I did does not show her horn and her arse. Here's my art
