Small forum question

Sorry if this is discussed in another topic, but what exactly is a "hidden user" on these forums? I can't figure out what the term means.

Hidden users has chosen to not show that they are online to everybody else by going into the User CP and toggling Hide your online status to Yes.

It's someone who can browse the forum without being shown that they are online.
