New Level -- Harry Potter Triwizard #2

Post by nascarjunkie » Thu May 12, 2005 7:45 am

given that we can't do an actual underwater level in wonderland...the guys wouldn't live to tell the tale, no gillyweed grows here... I still wanted to do something with merpeople.

although still potentially lethal, this one is much much easier -- the merpeople aren't as agressive as the dragons -- this level needs brain power more than quick fingers or impeccable timing.

Have fun rescuing your Weezy!

This really did require "brainpower", Naz. First time I placed the boxes in all the wrong places, next time I realized what was required & everything worked hunky dorey. Fabulous puzzle & yes much easier than the Dragons :!: :!: Off to give that another try. TASHA

Enjoyed this one, Nas thought I'd got home twice - my own fault for not looking around (you know what I missed) - struck 3rd time lucky !

Thanks

Kazza :) :)

PS - am saving Prisoner & Chamber for a rainy day - or even a long rainy weekend, must be missing something

hintage follows, in white, if you want it...

prisoner only has two tricky spots...don't walk too far along the pier, and go through the teleport in the proper direction and you should be fine. the house should be thoroughly explored, but you may only do this once.

chamber has a few more pitfalls, one coin is hidden in an invisible broom cupboard, if you look at the tops of the walls you'll notice where it is, but don't get so excited over it that you explode. Almost everything else can be spoted if you peek over the top of the wall before you enter the next chamber. you can't often see what you're doing, but you can always peek first to see where you should be walking. and I know you know all about round and square buttons and when they should -- and should not -- be stepped on.

I think that even if you read the hints you'll still have to work out the puzzles, they're vague, but will point you in the right direction of thought. My daughter hates it when I give her that sort of help with her homework, leading her to the right thoughts instead of giving her the answers, but it's the only way to help her learn, and I've got fairly good at it.

What a level, Nascar! Quite a challenge to place all those boxes in just the right places. Finally got it done and got the three home safely. Stayed away from those coilies.

Loads of fun, Thanks! :D
