Hi Wonderlanders,

Well it is Saturday, so Stinky is treating his 3 friends to a day out down 'Memory Lane'

Hmmm ..... I wonder where he is taking them all

I sure did! I didn't think it was that bad a dream at all, although that ending was a bit hairy.

I am delighted to have completed another of your stinkers. A nice stinker this was - the ending was a real race though

What were the ice tiles in the main puzzle for though - didn't use them (although Loof did have a wee slide just for fun

)

You have to do it twice - use three characters that are in order e.g. have Loof on one timer, Quookie on the other and Peegue on the conveyor - then SWITCH SWITCH SWITCH SWITCH - move Peegue half way then SWITCH SWITCH SWITCH SWITCH again!!!!! It is tough but it can be done! I did look for a way to have a rolling boulder but couldn't see how to do it! Sorry Malc!

Hi Lillian,

You got the Rainbow coin by using 3 characters

BUT ...

Except for Peegue all the other characters are behind exit gates that will not come down until you have the coin

Chicken and egg situation - how did you get to use 3 characters

I used the first boulder and pushed it down the conveyor to smash it. I then used Peegue to place 3 of the boulders from the generator on the buttons (boulder puzzle). I then sent Peegue down the conveyor to get the coin. This freed all the other characters. I used Loof one one timer, Quookie on the other and got Peegue back up the conveyor!

Very clever solution - I stand astounded

I am definately going rusty - I should have had some of the conveyors going the other direction

This means that the boulder puzzle becomes obsolete

My mind is not on it anymore

Thats 2 boo-boo's on the trot from me

What was your intention? It must have been a stinker the way you intended it, cause I can't see any other way to do it

Hi mette,

Peegue can roll the boulders such that the conveyors are permanantly stopped - he can then go and get the coin

You have to get a boulder on the outside of each square of ice - push another boulder right down the red transporter and it will keep going back and forth over the timer buttons.

The 4th boulder is then for the yellow button.

Have to admit that I did it the same as Lillie, but wasn't fast enough yet to switch between the 3 characters to get Peegue off the conveyor. Ddin't even think of the other way

Hi Malc. I love a good boulder puzzle and this one was a humdinger and a hoot. I remember the void, All excellent challenging levels, the ending on this one was very clever. Thanks.

Hello Malc - this is red letter banner day for me because I've completed one of your levels.

I did it the same way as Lillie, although I discovered it by accident - or rather, Peegue's accident. He caught the conveyor a bit too early in the game, almost panicked, and then realized he'd made a lucky mistake

It took me ages to get the timing right to get him back again - and then it was even worse getting them all past the Zeddie.

What I can't seem to see, is how to get the boulders where you say they should be.

Fun level, and I really enjoyed being able to complete it. Thank you.

Great puzzle. I did a combination of all these solutions.

MY SPOILER:

I sent the first boulder down the conveyor to smash it, then put a boulder on the yellow and the send peegue down to get the coin. Once freed, I placed one boulder above the top timer, then another one right ON the timer. then Qookie pushed the boulder into the teleporter, and as he did that, I switched to peegue and started running. Just barely made it out.

One more tile of conveyor would've prevented that solution. I at first was trying to get boulders on the sides of the ice for the rolling timer stop, but couldn't figure out how. Then I tried using a three character solution (like Lillian's) and wasn't fast enough. then stumbled upon this and it worked for me.

Loved it!

Hi Wonderlanders,

For those of you who would like to know how to roll the boulders - see the attached screenshot.

Once Peegue has the 4 boulders push the red-line boulder first, then the green-line boulder, then the first boulder again as shown by the white-line.

You now have a boulder on the right of the top ice square AND the top boulder is also up against the blank square and can be re-used

Using this boulder (via teleporter) and the other 2 boulders you can also get a boulder on the left of the lower ice square.

You now have 2 boulders to use - you can then get the first of these on the square with the blue X and the second onto the top timer button.

The boulder on the X square can then be pushed onto the yellow button to open the gate.

You then push the button on the timer switch right and the conveyors will be permanantly stopped.

Once Peegue has the coin he can re-use all 3 boulders again - 2 to open the pink and green gates and the third to go through to the last section.

That was the idea anyways

Played this level just now -- OK, so now I understand why I thought this level was far too easy for a malcdelsol level.

I knew I found an unintended solution when I was able to do this on my first try. Did it the Lillie way, I'm afraid -- though I was even faster!

You don't even have to press the timers twice. If you put Loof on the top timer and Qookie on the bottom, then if you're *really* fast, once is enough!!!

If there's a fast move that bypasses a major part of a puzzle, you can be sure that I'll find it.

OK, so eventually I'll try it the real way, too.

I'm sure it becomes an even cooler puzzle when done "properly". Being back in The Void was very interesting.
