New Level - Who Slew Stinker Roo?

Post by Amadeus! » Tue Oct 18, 2005 1:22 am

Who Slew Stinker Roo?

This is my second stab at an adventure quest
with mystery and murder. Hope you like

Here's a "Clue List" to help unstick those who get stuck.
Just highlight the answer hidden below the question.
Nine Clues to Unlock the Secrets of Roo Hall

1. How can I get Stinky out of the Dog House?
Instead of leaving through the yellow gate, try looking for another way out.
2. How can I get inside Roo Hall?
Use the box in the left wall of the Dog House to cross the river. Use the other box to open the White Gate.
3. How do I help Loof and Peegue escape?
You will need Stinky to unblock the doorways for both of them.
4. How do I retrieve the three Prisms?
You will only need to retrieve one prism. But you will need a second Stinker to do this.
5. How do I open the Secret Panel in the Drawing Room?
A Boulder might be a smashing good idea!
6. How do I get the Prism to the other side?
You will need all three Stinkers to perform this feat!
7. Once I open the Secret Panel, what do I do next?
Navigate the second boulder into the same watery grave as the first boulder. A Prism can be a helpful guide.
8. How do I rescue Qookie?
A Prism is needed to help Qookie escape.
9. How do I reach the Great Pyramid?
You will need one of the boxes that trapped Qookie to get across.

It was an accident! I didn't do it on purpose, You know what I mean. One of your easy-er levels, Thanks. :D :D :D

Easy-er for you, Keek-Meister.

Not true, mate. I did this one, too, (also without the clues, much more fun that way). It is a lot easier than your normal stuff. Still very tricky, but still lots of fun to play.

Just been too busy with the comp levels to post a reply. Sorry!

btw. Seeing this post today and the one below meant somehow I had missed you posting the Desperate Stinkers levels. (How did I miss these? They are brilliant!!) However, I downloaded them and after 2 hours of brainache, I can report both have now been solved. Very tricky indeed. I will admit I 'stumbled' across the solution in the second one. Great stuff!!!

Sorry Mozart - I've been trying this on and off for a while now.

I stumbled on something. I got across the water. But I needed another bit of equipment. Still trying ... :P

I just updated Clue #2. Hope that helps the two of you.
I didn't think this level was an easy one, hence my "Clue List".

Finally I did it!!!

I did need a bit of help with leading the dogs astray in the first section, but managed the rest without hints.

Very enjoyable to work it all out. You are the master of disguise!

Thanks for the fun! Even though it has taken me a long time! 8)

Fun level Amadeus. I did it without the clues but thought giving spoilers in this fashion was a clever idea. Thanks

Post by rebel » Thu Nov 24, 2005 12:24 pm

Hi Amadeus!

I've been trying this (and loads of others!)  for quite some time now and I just have to admit defeat. Any chance of a bigger hint?

Stuck at the end

Post by David » Fri Jun 18, 2010 1:51 am

I've gotten everyone free but Qookie (and without clues!) It's pretty clear that to free him I need to use a prism to redirect the cannon fire into one of the boxes... but the only place to put the prism is in the water, and I'm out of boxes. What am I missing?

: So save the two boxes that you have, take them out of the way as necessary, Fill the middle water with two boulders, not with a box: A prism is helpful in redirecting boulders.

Great level, thanks! :D

I have to admit I read the first half of the first question, which I wouldn't have done if I had looked in the editor in the first place, but I only decided to do that after reading a question suggesting the impossible is possible. 8)
