Speaking of which, why is it that when I found it, no one seemed to care about it at all, except when you mentioned it, everyone starting talking about how amazing it was and going on about changing the texts?

That makes me feel so much better about my life...
You and andyhilbert were the only ones who posted since you posted the text editing, and people weren't really on at the time, and usually come online after I'm offline, so logically, you were the one who discovered the text editing.

I'm more under the impression that he wants to sell the full version of his project.

Which is illegal, because WA is (C) Midnight Synergy and reselling a modified version of your own counts as piracy.

Regardless of if it's paying or not, there are two reasons that it's illegal in this case:

1) Wonderland Adventures was not made by bround, and is thus not copyrighted to him. If you sell something you don't have the copyrights for, it constitutes copyright infringement and theft.

2) The WA Editor is technically freeware - Selling freeware programs - or something associated with them (in this case, the adventures we have made) is illegal because it constitutes theft.

Also, bround would have to edit, copy, and/or delete folders to get everything in place. How is it that if we delete folders and the like after legally acquiring bround's project would count as 'bad', except him deleting folders and the like doesn't? If we don't like it, that doesn't mean we have to put up with it on our computer.

How would bround be effected whatsoever if we edit files on OUR computer anyways, If I edit a level, on my computer, regardless whether I made it or not it's not like it changes for everyone on earth! :?

Exactly! What bround's "pay so you can edit stuff" method is suggesting is that something bad would happen to him if we changed files that don't even belong to him.

What he's saying is essentially the equivalent of paying to have to edit your own adventure.

Emerald, Jellybean was just sticking up for Bround. Besides, Jellybean is pretty new so you shouldn't be so hard on him/her.

BTW, I think Bround was joking or something when he was talking about the WA editor. Even if he did purposely mean what he said, he probably didn't understand it. If you check out the Age Topic in the Off-Topic forum, he's pretty young.

Alright, let's get back on topic!

Well, that's still not a good way to get started. I'm trying to make a point here - that illegal activities are, well, illegal (like piracy) - and Jellybean decides it's necessary to laugh and joke about people who respect the law.

Jellybean might not think that illegal activities are extremely bad, and they can think that, even though it might not help them later on. The problem I have with his post is that they decided to show me no respect in it. I didn't disrespect them in any way. If I had, I could see their post as justified - but I didn't. At least, I didn't directly disrespect them and know I was doing so.

If anything I've learned from Grade 6 at school still remains, it's that almost all the time when you have something to say, you should A) do your best to be respectful, and B) make your point with just reasons.

I was doing my best to be respectful in my posts while making my point - that selling any sort of merchandise that doesn't belong to you constitutes theft, and is illegal. What about Jellybean's post?

First off, they're not being respectful towards me, and from three years of experience, I'm an expert on figuring out if someone respects me or not. On the internet, it isn't as exact, but I can tell from this that Jellybean isn't being respectful.

Also, I don't see them trying to justify their point on PM'ing what I wrote to bround. Maybe if they had made their point, I would understand why they thought this was something worth making fun of, but they didn't make their point.
