You wanted score runs? You've got score runs. A whole bunch of them, to be precise.

This post will now serve as the place for all scoreruns that I have recorded on video. The playlist link is always the same. I will probably re-add the individual links later, it's just taking too long as it is. For now, use the playlist link.

Notes and comments are in the individual video descriptions.

Dailymotion playlist for all the videos here: http://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/x1n ... oId=xji45j

Table of results:

TOW: W1L1 -- 4390 ("First Steps")
TOW: W1L2 -- 6860 ("Traps and Tribulations")
TOW: W1L3 -- 5090 ("Buttons and Bridges")
TOW: W1L4 -- 3380 ("Getting the Big Picture")
TOW: W1L5 -- 7620 ("Introducing Loof!")
TOW: W2L1 -- 7050 ("Crossing the Moat")
TOW: W2L2 -- 4640 ("Here, Fishy, Fishy!")
TOW: W2L3 -- 5380 ("Coily on the Loose!")
TOW: W2L4 -- 1580 ("With a little Help from my Friends")
TOW: W2L5 -- 5180 ("First You're Here, Then You're There")
TOW: W2L6 -- 6170 ("Locked Up")
TOW: W2L7 -- 5950 ("Loof to the Rescue!")
TOW: W2L8 -- 8380 ("One, Two, Kaboom!")
TOW: W3L1 -- 2940 ("Slipping Away")
TOW: W3L2 -- 1600 ("Centre Ice")
TOW: W3L3 -- 5220 ("Fish in A Barrel")
TOW: W3L4 -- 4400 ("Here They Come")
TOW: W3L5 -- 870 ("Collision Course")
TOW: W3L6 -- 3740 ("So Close! (and yet so far)")
TOW: W3L7 -- 3090 ("Ricochet")
TOW: W3L8 -- 3060 ("The Spiral of Doom")
TOW: W3L9 -- 5350 ("Steel and Wood")
TOW: W3L10 -- 3670 ("Fire And Ice")
TOW: W4L1 -- 1320 ("Trial by Fire")
TOW: W4L2 -- 4550 ("Guarded Centre")
TOW: W4L3 -- 620 ("Claustrophobia")
TOW: W4L4 -- 3520 ("Release The Hounds!")
TOW: W4L5 -- 4260 ("Blast Through!")
TOW: W4L6 -- 1550 ("CrossFire!")
TOW: W4L7 -- 4310 ("The Money Maze")
TOW: W4L8 -- 1000 ("Barrel of a Gun")
TOW: W4L9 -- 5370 ("The Corridor")
TOW: W5L1 -- 4180 ("I, Z-Bot")
TOW: W5L2 -- 4800 ("The Two Towers")
TOW: W5L3 -- 3210 ("Tower Hopping")
TOW: W5L4 -- 2280 ("Teamwork Time")
TOW: W5L5 -- 5350 ("Do Not Immerse In Water!")

Watching W1L5 over and over, I can see how ridiculously close to 7630 my current route is. I've lost all hope of getting 5100 on W1L3, or 3390 on W1L4... but perhaps I can get 7630 on W1L5... but even if I can, it's not going to be easy. Later.

EDIT: Worlds 1-5 are up.

Hello again... but if you expected me to upload another bunch of score runs... sorry, you're out of luck this time. I'm a bit busy.

I have posted this in "Level Solutions -- Classic Trilogy" but I want everyone who is reading this thread to also know about this:

During one of my lazy test runs on W7L4, somehow I did everything exactly the right way and caused a bunch of enemies to trap themselves and explode off screen, which at the end gave me the score of 4830. However, I wasn't recording at the time and could NOT replicate it -- no matter how many tries I spent on this, it just didn't happen again.

Perhaps you will be more lucky?

If you want to say anything about this, please reply in this thread:

Since I didn't need to do any kind of video recording here... 4530. :P Just enough time during a break.

Got it. Can be tied but not beaten, I think.
I didn't play it now, I had the stat written down on paper from previous attempts. :P

DP.

5790 on "Kaboom! Cave". It's probably not optimal, 5800 is definitely possible and I believe you can even do 5820 or 5830... but anyway, it's not that much of a "perfection" challenge, it's more of a "what to do" challenge.

Unless you find a spoiler I have written in a different topic... you will never figure out how I got that score.

EDIT: With a mistake-less playthrough I have achieved 5810. While 5820 is probably possible (though I can't be sure right now) 5830 is really pushing it. I don't know if you can get more than 5820 and I *really* doubt getting more than 5830.

Only time can tell, though...

TP.

All my Wonderland videos that I have uploaded so far have been now moved to Dailymotion. Individual links for each video will be added later, it took me long enough as it is. The playlist link for all the videos is in the first post of this page, but just in case, I will repeat it once more:

4770.

I know I can get 4780 if I try hard enough and do several quick switches at the end... but 4790 seems impossible. Unless I somehow manage to use quick switches for *every* *single* *step* that Loof has to take at the end, anything above 4780 is not going to happen.

555510 on 'Strange Phenomena" in the platinum set of RTW!

If you wait near the exit untill the clock counts down to 1 second, you can pick up alot of points! :D

Unfair. It's infinite, hence no competition. In levels, where you can milk something over and over, please play with timer ON.

I have 553510 on this level, guess that means I haven't waited long enough at the end.

EDIT: Wow it's sure boring trying over and over. I just got 553510 AGAIN and I'm a bit angry now.

3760 on "Return to the Jade Temple". It used to be 3730 until I discovered a little trick.

md, please play this level again, but when you enter the level, press Ctrl+F5 to display the Frames Per Second number and then get to the end. If the game slows down, the number will be lower.

If it's in the "close to 60" range (mine is 59) I'll be willing to try again. If, however, it slows down and is something like 27 or 44 I won't bother -- the game tries to frameskip to keep the timing the same but something happens so a slowed-down game gives you *slightly* more time, allowing you to wait until another batch of enemies explodes.

I have both of those stats. I don't actually remember how I did it exactly, but if I remember correctly, that 5180 required some little trick.

EDIT: Nope, just quickness, I confused this with "Teleportation" from the RTW tutorial set... and blargh, I'm also getting 5170 now! Doesn't matter, I do still have the 5180 I achieved back then.

I have managed to get 3060 back then, but it is hard to replicate... like that 5180.

Yeah, I've got both of those. Though your job on the first one is easier than mine due to the smalltiming difference. (And "Welcome back, Stinky!" proved it's there)

The second one is easy as long as you can figure out what not to do.

Emerald141 wrote:Woo, got the 3060... looks like my old computer works better than my new one.

EDIT: And the 4770.
Press Ctrl+F5 and check your FPS number. If it's lower, it means you're at a slight advantage.

Myself, it's at a constant 59 FPS, occasionally going to either 58 or to 60.

billy bob has his FPS at a constant 27. His game must look really jerky, but it does save a small bit of time and allows him a better score (by 1 second) on "Welcome back, Stinky!".
