I haven't really tested water, but I don't know why it wouldn't work. Make sure you're placing only 1 water tile in each place?

I did.

Well... IDK. I might revise the editor water engine thing.

I created water in Serlan1 by trying 2 times, MNIK, you'll need to fix this.

Both!
Emerald141 wrote:Also, how many more levels are required for Community Toaster Demo 1?
No idea. Probably a lot, considering how short and straightforward most people's levels are.

BUG! When you place a red block from Boxinator (plocks right?)
and change the texture to kiyoshi they turn into bricks, but instead of changing back to red when changing the tex, they stay bricks.

I'm making a list of the editor objects, I will add to it until the final editor is realeased. :) Good night.

It will be back to normal when you play the level.

Cool level, but it's impossible to avoid getting hurt in most parts.

Two objects you should add:

Dancing Duck. This is a weak enemy, not a boss.

All Enemies Defeated Door. StinkerSquad01 would have liked it anyway.

DP.

When I posted that I forgot to mention that I made a level. The area before the exit is an edit of one of Sammy_P's levels. The main edits are getting rid of a white toast and three cages and adding a Llaw, although I also added a random wall block to make the level look better and changed the placement of the water blocks so there wasn't water levitating above ground.

you used that dialog window with a box to type something in. Can you tell me how to make one like that for my recent game projects?

Posted: Mon Apr 04, 2011 12:37 am
by MyNameIsKooky

Code: Select all

get_string( "TYPE SOMETHING IN!","blah");

Thanks but how do I do functions for a correct and wrong answer in the box?

Example: get_string( "say yes","type here")

What other code do I do to perform functions when I type "yes" and when I don't type "yes"?

I dunno. You have to code your own things for what would happen after. In my case, it was saving what was typed into the box.

Blast!10 explained this exact thing in a different topic, I'm pretty sure.

Deeman posted some of his levels on NFW since he can't here. Here's a link to the topic.

You can pretty much just reupload it here.
