Mette - do I have to get you "Wienerbrød" for your breakfast? What do you Danes eat for brekkie please?

What Danish people eat for breakfast? Generally not "Wienerbrød". Normally we eat corn flakes or toast or yoghurt or whatever's available. Bjarne and I are not picky. We'll eat what you normally would eat for breakfast. Don't worry about it, I'm sure everything will be wonderific
I'm known for being able to eat allmost anything for breakfast. Leftover pizza, leftover anything in fact

Laurie Lou, you will be with us in spirit like a lot of other Wonderlanders.
Talking of breakfast, a normal Irish/Scottish brekkie consists of the following.. Bacon, eggs, sausage, soda bread, potato bread, mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans.
How I'm going to make all that for 13 people is beyond me, we will have to do it in separate sittings.
Not to worry, we will get through breakfast in time for lunch.
Back to my list again, why is it not getting shorter?

Mo - I couldn't eat a Scottish/Irish breakfast any more!
A piece of toast and a cuppa tea is all I have (though I have been known to eat cold curry for breakfast

).

I'm not a breakfast person either but like to cook for everyone else.
Just thought I'd show you this picture of John preparing the field, he had to cut the grass now that there's no horses to eat it.
Plenty of room to pitch your tent Lutzylugs, gives others a chance to reach the table before you. hehe

EXCELLENT!!!!! Glad to see you are cracking the whip Auntie Mo

I bet John is being a great help to you - he'll think we are all bananas
PS: Bagsy a go on John's lawn mower - looks like fun! Stan would give his right arm for one of those! Shame our garden doesn't warrant one!
Thanks for the piccy

I have a zisser (sisser or zisser - I don't know) so I can help cutting the grass.
Oh and the breakfast just coffee and some toast for me. The rest of the stuff is to heavy for me. I am heavy enough the way I am.

Do you mean a strimmer Rose? That's fine, you can do the edges.
Breakfast is getting lighter by the minute, looks as though all the cooking will be for the men.

I'm so glad I could be of help to you, with the English language, Rose. It's very difficult, isn't it ? ? ?
No - "Whickers " has nothing to do with string ! ! ! ! ! You must read through many of the other threads to see what people have been writing about. "Allen Whickers" is a British slang term for Knickers, which are old fashioned, heavy under panties - probably a bit like your grandmother wore/wears. We had to wear them to school, They have elastic in the legs, and my mother used to pull them down around my knees to keep me warm. They are ugly, ugly, ugly
I think Mo has promised to make Tartan ones for every one that goes to Ireland, and they'll have pictures of the Wonderland Gang sewn on to them
Hope this explains it to you. Could be cold in N.I. - you may be very glad to have a pair.

Thanks Ann for the explanation. I thouht wickers was something you put on your head. But I wouldn.'t do that now. I look silly than, won't you think so?
But wickers sound like wig, so that was for me the reason.
And yes I am a lucky girl that I can go to Ireland.

You lot have me laughing so hard I'm gonna burst my wicker elastic.
Sorry about the confusion Rose, I thought we were talking about grass so immediately made the wrong assumption. How was I to know that you use a mower for your hair and scissors for the grass?
Don't worry about us understanding one another, we all talk Wonderlandic.
From 'G' strings to 'G' ropes, where will it end?
Yes Laurie Lou, you imagine me sewing all those tartan ropes. John has been trying to picture the scene with me holding needle and thread for a long time.

I come out in a rash when hearing those words.
"There's a button missing from my shirt." ARGH!
Weatherwise, it's very hot here in N. Ireland but next week it could snow.

I'm sorry Auntie Mo, which words make you rash out????? I don't think your english is very good I don't know what those words mean????
As for hot weather, it's to hot here to enjoy to pool, the water is as warm as tub water. So I turned the air conditioner on real low & pretended it was winter, got me in the mood to rearrange my house. I rearranged behind furniture, under beds, in closets, you name it it's be rearranged. Heck, if I prentended it was winter any more I'd be putting up the tree
Anyways ladies thanks for the GREAT laughs, I'm sure you will be laughing soo much your ribs & cheeks will hurt.
