(Unless that's cheap or something, I wouldn't know. If it is lets just say 400/500.)

Every character has the same max HP: Infinity. However, they all start with way less than their max HP, and there's only ever been one character (me) who reached their max HP, and that was only for a brief moment before Book Magic lowered that character's HP.
