Okay, now I'm putting most of my concern of my second adventure since I'm pretty much done with IWABMO Part 2....I should be getting back to that actually

What do you think of sandy levels made somewhat like this, only with more plants and variation..?

Love the dunes

Yeap, I'm thinking of making something similar to this to the eighth world.

It is, I believe, supposed to be the most difficult world, and...
well, the oddly shaped walls would be no exception.

I should, however, do things differently in the editor before changing all of them back to dunes;
Trying to figure out what was a floor and what was a wall was not entirely easy.

A long time ago, I was unable to create these things. However, today...I still can't.

Dunes would be a nice addition if they didn't have their distinctly odd shading. That's why I don't use them. Fortunately, it is now possible to use a custom model for a dune instead (this is however quite limited, but looks much better).

I'm going to get so much hate for this adventure but oh well.

Aren't political discussions, like, banned on this forum? This adventure could end up really insulting...

..but on the other hand, if you choose your words carefully, it could end up pretty darn funny.

Let me clarify.

The original rule was there to prevent personal attacks and flamewars. There is a difference between discussion and heated discussions: You will definitely feel the "heat" in a heated discussion, seeing hints of flamewar-provoking material.

Quoting the rules:

Please try to keep your language in check. Swearing, off-colour jokes, links or images with questionable content, and heated political discussions are among the content that might get you banned from these forums.

It says that this content (notice the use of the word content) "might get you banned from these forums". It does not mean the content itself is banned.

While we (as in the off-topic mods) are cool as long as the content will not directly or indirectly attack people or start a flamewar, Patrick doesn't like political content at all because of it being a great flamewar fuel and locks all of them. Last time (and I am talking 5 years ago) Toon Dog (xpr'd) opened a thread calling out PETA, and Patrick closed it. You don't see this often because you don't see people posting political content often; in fact, this is the first one I've seen since the PETA thread.

tl;dr: I would suggest MNIK to edit the adventure to not contain derogatory content (or do the same for all contestants, but that is just me :P), and yot yot to contact the author or us in private before calling somebody out in public. While we don't have direct rights in other forums, we have influence over Patrick's decision (and the right to request a ban).

Yes, that's what I was planning.

If this ends up working somehow, that would probably be the best adventure ever.

I presume that this will be my non-political part in the community where helpful things take places.

+Finishing the Transporter Challenge(even if nobody plays it{not to be confused with Nobody...})
+Finishing Version Beta of JA:HOTSP
+Finishing my next RTW series
+Finishing my RTW kids series
+Doing IWABMO with Wonderman and Llarson.

And...
that's for Wonderland alone.

It looks like my fears of never being able to post any thing are not as threatening as I thought.

TMC5 has 16 dialogs so far, expect it this week or the next.

and, honestly, kind of makes me too scared to try it - and, of course, reminds me of The End.

Looks fairly normal to me.
