I mean, maybe you could release single levels (Editor Compatible).

Oh, okay.

I suppose that would work.

But beforehand, we need to get the map and area placement done so we can determine the difficult curve per area.

As for the adventures that are already done, I'll get them up provided all the designers are okay with that. :)

EDIT: Checked back on the poll results - 3 days left to vote or the final results are 1 for B, 2 for C, and 3 for D.

Can we add in NPCs to represent the designers, in both the Hub and the Adventures?
After the player meets them, he gets to learn the different game elements from the NPCs. In fact, the NPCs can get involved in the main storyline too.
In this way, the game will not seem much like the player being in a dreamy state.

Any comments or suggestions? :D

Sounds good to me.

Speaking of which, the map concept you posted earlier was AWESOME. I would say that we should use a map that's like that for our beginning area. :)

Dreamy state?

I don't know, though, adding different parts of the tutorial into the profile levels?

Think about it though - If we have some/most/all/etc. of the elements introduced during the part with the player profiles, then there's no need for a tutorial level, which means the player can get into the actual game faster.

Of course, we could still introduce them a few at a time.

How about a profile level where monsters have invaded your home and you have to fight them and learn about your house (If your home is multistory, then use arrows).

Why would you have o learn about your own house?

*gets idea*

Interesting...

Okay, so the poll's been closed for 2 days now and I haven't bothered posting the results.

However, they haven't changed at all: 1 for B, 2 for C, and 3 for D.

There were two options for D:

WSW, MoFI, and Classic Wonderland, and WSW, MoFI, and the other side of Wonderland (which is not listed on the map ingame).

The secondary round starts now -

A. WSW, MoFI, and Classic Wonderland
B. WSW, MoFI, and other side of Wonderland

Once again, two weeks.

Has the project benn cancelled? :stinkysad:

It's not been cancelled, I just haven't gotten much time for it.

At the moment, the stakes are between A, or both.

1 week poll this time: A; Original Wonderland, or B; Both.

With that in mind, I say stay small and just do Original Wonderland for now, we can always try "the Other Side of Wonderland" or whatever later in the sequel (CP2), if anyone ever bothers.

So I vote A.

I think it depends on the time we are actually able to sit down in front of the computer and pen out all the levels. As such, doing this over a period of days during school holidays will usually have best effect. :)

Maybe, but I still think B will just delay the completion of CP and probably won't be worth the delay.

As far as I'm concerned, yes, you can.

As for the poll, I can see it's certainly going well.

Seriously though, now that I think about it, cbloopy's raised an important point as far as areas/effort goes.

...

*looks over shoulder*
