Is anyone else still having to put their user name and password in all the time? I had it so I wouldn't have to since I spend a lot of time here but sometimes I have to re-sign back in so I was wondering if I was the only one.

Do you mean you need to login again each time?

When there were problems with the old server it happened to me now and then, but now the forum is on the new server, it didn't happen again as I remember.

which (sorry MS) is a bad idea. BTW, anyway, I have found that some of the emails saying people replied to my topics, (when the board first changed servers) WOULD SEND ME THE WRONG LINK yet taking me to a post i have never heard of.     and some of the comments i never got a chance to read were lost, so if you commented right before the forum changed severs on my topic "Chapter 3 Level 1", and your posts are gone, please repost them. thank you.

That topic is one I saved from the old server. See http://www.microstupidity.com/wdl_oldfo ... hp?t=16531 for the missing posts.

No, it's a very good idea! It prevents us from getting a message : The topic you requested does not exist! :D

That's quite logical. Let's say at the moment the backup was made there were 1,000,000 posts. So after the backup was made someone posted on your chapter "so much" and that was post #1,000,001. But the first post on the new server, on topic "blah blah blah" was also #1,000,001. So when you got a notificationmail for your chapter post, the link sent you to topic "blah blah blah"

Yes but when we post a message but then think hmm it wasn't a good idea to post that we have to say "Deleted" on the post instead of deleting it. XD

That's true :D

Another option is: Think about it a little bit more before you post, or in general, before you do something. After all, everyone has to live with the consequences of his/her acts.

And in case you change your mind later; try to explain why. Maybe it helps people to understand each other better. :D

If you need to delete your post, just repalce it with the "EDIT: DELETED BY POSTER" phrase. What could be simpler?!
