I'm playing Red Cap now, but are stuck with the 3 fireflowers in the basement. I just can't outrun the fire. Any hint, please?

The only strategy is that it's best to wait until the flowers are facing away from you and then try to run past. Other than that it's all a matter of moving and timing.

Well messer-upper

, here're some other problems I found there:
1) I could reach the joke guy without opening the gate near him, so the chomper boss battle seems to be unnecessary. (missing wall/water logic on tiles?)
2) After finishing the "diagonal move" adventure, and it warps me to one of the cyan keys, I can't get out because it won't let me walk to the spring.
3) I can't see how to finish "water cave", I can't get to the Blink Charger and don't see another way to get further in that adventure.

You can't walk inside of the top hat stinker?

Now I have fixed all 3 of these issues. I'll test the level tomorrow and then if there are no other mess-ups (none that stop you from finishing the level at least) then hopefully I really will have a mess-upless Demo 2.

Afraid I don't know what you're talking about.
In any case, if an NPC ends up on the same position you're on, you should be able to walk out of that position anyway so I don't see how you can be stuck.

Nobody wrote:You can't walk inside of the top hat stinker?

That just happened to me. When I was testing I was able to walk inside him and I couldn't get him to talk even when going into The Jungle Cave and then back out.
Well that stupid stinker didn't make things very convenient when I'm spending like a hour testing this

... but I might be able to fix it so that it can never happen at all. It might be due to the grafix engine knowing that the Stinker is now active but the gameplay engine not...
EDIT: Well actually if it is that then I really don't know how to fix it really...

I think I remember seeing something similar when I was testing out something of my own. I think this might happen whenever the top-hat stinker is activated when there's another NPC at the location the top-hat stinker is on. I'm guessing there's a bug in the game such that the game gets confused when that happens.
Perhaps the easiest way would be to move the top-hat stinker to appear elsewhere, especially away from the moving "children Stinker" NPCs.

I've moved that Stinker to a better place now.
And now, I have now made a logo for TRC! (Thanks to
www.cooltext.com for providing the text and the background image.

)
EDIT: Changed Logo so you don't have to see red on red.

No, I haven't got any "news" on it ATM. However, I might be some new pictures coming out within the next week or so.
And yea, if anyone wants to be a beta tester for the final version or wants to make a level for the game then just tell me.

OK, some bad news...
I'm gonna delete the dialog with all the level names and descriptions and just have it send you straight into the adventure when you step on a tile, just like it was originally on Demo 1.
The reason is because that dialog is broken (keeps giving me a MAV both in editor and player) and for the past few days I really haven't felt like making a new version for it and if I just stay there and not do anything about it, you know what happens, the project just pauses... so I'm gonna just delete it instead so I can get on with making all the other parts of TRC.
EDIT: BTW, I got your level, Nobody. I'll put it in soon (with a few changes)

Sorry to hear that.

But since you posted a demo, you effectively have a backup copy of the dialog files from the last demo you uploaded. Would that be enough to get you back on track w/o removing all the level names and descriptions? Or still too much work?

You... Are... A... Genius!!!
Why did I never think of that?!?

*Goes to put the dialog from Demo 2 into the latest version of TRC and then will add the new parts.*

Would anyone else like to make an adventure for TRC

I think it would be a bit strange to have only an adventure made by one user and then every single other one by me.

As you've guessed, they are in the game player itself and can happen with other adventures as well.
