I might try this.I've already started my adventure.I'm bad at making more and more dilapidated puzzles so I'm just going to use the puzzles that are easier first then try making it dilapidate for example:
3 well known puzzles
3 dilapidated puzzles
Would you except that kind of thing?

I'm going to be grading adventures more off of their story than puzzles, but sure, you can do that. As long as it doesn't feel repetitive.

It's a little repetitive but I have a better Idea at puzzles. My storyline however makes a lot of sense towards the first 2 wlv. files but after the 3rd it seems to get randomer and randomer

.You'll just have to wait and see.

I don't know what's going on for your time zone, but it's the 29th of June where I am.

It was already 29 in his zone, I wonder why he didn't count it though.

It's the 29th here too. MyNameIsKooky will probably come on later.

Here's my entry. In my time zone it's almost noon of June 29...

EDIT: Whoops. I didn't read carefully. Also, MNIK, if you read this, my entry doesn't follow your rules entirely. I made it all in two days and I had to rush because I got the editor just last week.
Please don't flame me when you see the title.

You're supposed to PM it to MyNameIsKooky. Click on the "PM" button bellow his posts to send one.

Yes, it's the 29th, and I just got here.
Wonderman, you didn't attach your entry to the PM. Could you try sending another PM that has the adventure file attached?
As for rulebreaking, I could either disqualify you or take points off for that, depending on the rules you broke.

I'm not participating to win, it's just for fun.
Besides, my entry kind of automatically can be disqualified because today's supposed to be the due date and my level is basically a parody of one of your famous levels- Mr. Zurkon's Retarded Holiday I. I liked that level very much, and when you said the entries can be at most 15 wlv. files, I thought of Mr. Zurkon's Retarded Holiday, but shrunk.
Sorry. You can disqualify me if you want.

by MyNameIsKooky
I know it's just for fun, but I was just saying that in case you cared about how many points you get or something.
It's still not too late to submit any levels, so don't worry about that. As for ripping off Mr. Zurkon's Retarded Holiday, I don't really mind since people tend to rip off my stuff a lot anyways. So no, you won't be disqualified for that.
The results will be up in a few hours.

Glad you're not mad. But my entry will still probably not win. Can you or I post it as a level after the contest's over?
Also, if I ever win WACC, my challenge will be a Mr. Zurkon's Retarded Holiday II-sized standalone level requiring tough but fun puzzles, good dialog and storyline, good scenery and effects, and at least one object, level, water texture and two music packs.

The contest holder posts all the entries once the contest has finished.

I will be attaching all of the entries in a zip file when I post the results.

You'd probably be pretty hard-pressed to get anyone to participate in that. Mr. Zurkon's Retarded Holiday II took me almost a month to make, with several hours of work put in every day.

Then I'll give everyone
two months to work on it.
Nah, actually I'll make something a little less evil. And by the way, you said it took you two weeks to make MZRH.II, not a month.
LYING DETECTED!

Oh, I mis-remembered then. But really, by the time I got around to finishing it, I wasn't having any fun.

Of course not. I'll think of something better...if I win.

Wonderman, I sent you a PM about a missing texture which you need to send to me.

Did Wonderman send it? Because if not, bother.
Posted: Sat Jun 30, 2012 2:55 am
by MyNameIsKooky
No, he didn't send me the textures. I guess I'm going to have to disqualify him, for several reasons anyways.
Also, just a heads up: I've removed the 15x15 limitations for wlvs, so in that case, you don't have to worry about it when I send in the results. It was just causing problems anyways.

WONDERLAND ADVENTURES COMMUNITY CHALLENGE 2 IS OVER!
Here are the results! Thanks to everyone for participating!
I decided to weigh puzzles a bit less heavily because I was mostly looking for the story stuff.
Wonderman: Sorry, but you were disqualified because it was basically the same adventure as Mr. Zurkon's Retarded Holiday, just with slightly different puzzles but the same overall concepts. I couldn't play it either since I never received any of the necessary custom textures.
5TH PLACE: LLARSON WITH 20 POINTS
STORYLINE (5/40)
So you're trying to get a key for some reason and a random disembodied voice is trying to stop you. That's basically it and the story doesn't really change at all throughout the adventure.
PUZZLES (10/30)
The gate puzzle at the beginning was slightly clever, but the rest of them were no-brainers.
ENDING (5/30)
So it turns out the key just puts you in a full loop. Not really a big surprise there, considering that you can already see the random red gate when you start the adventure. It didn't really make me think "Wait, what?" at all.
OVERALL (20/100)
Not much to say here.
4TH PLACE: EPICDUDE WITH 48 POINTS
STORYLINE (15/40)
It seemed like it started random right off the bat and didn't seem like a plot of a serious custom adventure, although it DID successfully become more random.
PUZZLES (8/30)
The puzzles were too easy. It seems like the transporter puzzle was just randomly built and I still had a big lead when I finished the Chomper section. The area with the Fireflowers was just boring.
ENDING (25/30)
I loved it! It really did make me think "What?" Although it was bothersome to know that there was a sign behind that huge snowy tree.
OVERALL (48/100)
I'm very glad you participated in another contest!
3RD PLACE: AB-47 WITH 70 POINTS
STORYLINE (25/40)
The storyline at the beginning of the adventure didn't seem to give the impression that you were about to play a serious adventure. Aside from that, the plot was pretty interesting, although there really wasn't much of an increase in weirdness at all.
PUZZLES (30/30)
A lot of these puzzles made me scratch my head for a while! Great work!
ENDING (15/30)
Whoa! Revelation! It didn't really make me go "Wait, what?" though.
OVERALL (70/100)
I liked the whole "same area" gimmick!
2ND PLACE: MASTER WONDER MAGE WITH 75 POINTS
STORYLINE (40/40)
The adventure started off with a serious goal: Save Wonderland from a Demon Thwart. Of course, as you went through the adventure, things became less and less practical, as I asked for. The random time travel thing was funny!
PUZZLES (20/30)
This had a few nice puzzles. That first Chomper section was annoying, though.
ENDING (15/30)
It was funny, although it didn't really make me go "Wait, what?"
OVERALL (75/100)
Great job on this!
1ST PLACE: NOBODY WITH 80 POINTS
STORYLINE (35/40)
This had the most hilarious storyline in this contest and there was some nice buildup ! It became blatantly obvious that there was something up with that Stinker, but you just couldn't do anything about it.
PUZZLES (15/30)
I skipped the entire pool spring section without rotating anything, then just backtracked for the Magic Gloves. I didn't need to use the rainbow Transporter in the first transporter puzzle, either. Aside from those loopholes, the puzzles were pretty nice.
ENDING (30/30)
WAIT, WHAT?!
OVERALL (80/100)
Congratulations on winning! Please make WACC3 ASAP.
Here are the adventure downloads. You need ab-47's
Dark Castle leveltexture for Master Wonder Mage's adventure. I had to shorten some of the adventure titles, so apologies if that offends anyone for some weird reason.
