It's great fun K, the guessing part is the funniest.

I remember Jersey's description of me in the last competition, the tears were running down my cheeks it was so funny.

) I'm around for a few days.

I'll find a decent photo I can scan, and send it over. I just had my driver's license photo taken, and it was sooooooooooo bad, I turned it around in my wallet window, so no one can see it.

Are we sending the photos to you?

Hi Liz,

I'm just waiting for a couple of replies to PM's I sent, hope to hear something soon. Meanwhile, you can all get busy writing down your descriptions of each other, don't post them yet though.

Try to give as much detail in the description as you can......

Height, build etc. A good physical description as you see it.

Personality: What you think this person is like in their everyday life.

Just remember, no derogatory remarks. You can be straight and honest without being insulting.

I hope to post all the time limits over the weekend.

Pauline has the website set up and will be accepting the photographs via PM very soon.

Regarding the points system: I want to see how many old/new members are joining us first, then I can work out the handicap for previous contestants.

So far we only have one male, I think Roger still wants to be in.
Waiting to hear from Malc, Robbie and DG.

In answer to Roger's question about Kaboom.

Being a young boy still under his parents jurisdiction, they have decided not to allow Kaboom to submit his photograph. Everyone can understand their fears with the Internet, most parents feel the same.
I personally would have liked him to join in, even without the picture.

What does everyone think of this?

I think it's fine if Kaboom joins in, even without the picture, or even if he doesn't want to draw himself. He can still write how he sees us, and we can write how we see him. Then he can tell us in writing if anyone was close.

Yes, he can still join in the guessing.

I think the real reason he doesn't want us to see his picture is that he is so handsome we will all faint.

You can all start sending pics when you like. Try to keep the size down to under 100kbs or you'll have trouble PMing them. JPGs or GIFs rather than BMPs please.

Yes. Read Maureen's post just above, it tells you what to guess on.

I suggest you read through the Introductions thread to get some idea of some of the people. Otherwise it's just guesswork from the picture you get of them from their posts.

It can be quite funny, I thought some of them were the opposite sex!!

That's the general idea. 'Picture Me' is the name of the competition, in other words. HOW do you picture me?

Everyone gets a mental picture of someone, whether it's on the phone, by mail or this forum. Just describe the picture you have formed.

Hellooo .. am sat here giggling away thinking about what I'm going to put on the descriptions, I tend to have vivid pictures of everyone at home (playing on't computer no less) - can we include that too ?
E.g. I picture Davimad on her lap top in the shed with a parrot on her shoulder - ( i don't but that's the idea

)
