If I remember correctly, this was an older, unused version of the Tree Nursery Hub level. I think I remember reading that the reason why the object scaling was messed up was because the level file format changed during development.

It is a very scary sight. Especially the Turtles, which is odd because the fire flowers are the ones which can hurt you. I understand why the turtles would be there, to press the buttons to make Janna move, but why would fireflowers be in the hub.

Yeah, that's unsettling. My only guess about the scale and the fireflowers is that the nursery was meant to be wilder.

The beginning of Brr At the Shore in MOFI with the Ice Troll running at you is another scary moment.

Looks scary. I meant ones from the actual games, but i am sure there are some scary levels people have made on the editor.

The Fire World in the RTW custom set is also quite creepy.

I also think the sticky cubes in RTW custom were a bit scary but more in a creepy/'oh no it's going to blow' way. Angst of getting trapped and/or hit.
