Hi Patrick, will there be a "Solutions" page on the Midnight site for the "Platinum set" in the future? If these are suppose to be tutorials, we need some help on how to solve a good many of them. Thanks in advance! :D

Hello Patrick,
This is my fiirst communication with you even though I've been playing this addictive game for several months now.
Many thanks for designing the new platinum lelvel. I have played three or four levels so far and I like the trampoline feature. However, in one level I would like to change direction during the leap from one to another. This I can do but I can't control the distance and invariably end up in the water or crashing against a wall. Is there a way to control the distance of the bounce?
I think that of all the new features, my least favourite is the 3D.
Congratulations on the addition to an already terrific game.

The distance you bounce depends on how many trampolines you've bounced on. Each one takes you one step further i.e. the first one takes you two steps, the next one three steps and so on. :)

All the new features work and act great except for the 3D view. :? :? I get really dizy solving levels with it and there's no "planning ahead" mode, and my sense of direction isn't really good, as I keep rounding and rounding the same obstacles over and over again. I took 20 minutes to figure out the forest level (3D) of the platinum pack, and after that I got a headache for the next 10 minutes... Love the trampolines and the shadow stinkers though, with these we will be able to create all sorts of tricky levels!!!

Edit:
One thing I'm sure sure about: the warp gates... it will make most levels' highscore goal useless, as we can keep killing baddies with the clock off, therefore taking out some fun parts of a level (replaying it to get the maximum score for example.)

:? :( Hi there
i am having some difficulty with the platinum. got the first few ok; then hit trouble from the forest maze on. I liked the 3D but coulddn't get through the maze. Moved onto the sticky cubes and was frustrated again, and so on. Please post some tutorials. RTWD is still my favourite.
thanks

Same here.

I had a series that has it once, but that level is quite easy,

I DO NOT like the 3-D either though! when you try to move, you have to turn the direction you want to go.

I voted for the trampoline cause' i always wanted to make characters jump in wonderland.

I wonder why no ones voted for sticky cube...
(Sticky Cubes are a little annoying too, Im not suprised! (Jumps over a Sticky Cube barrier)

But sticky cubes definitely make the best noise!

And I just loved the Platinum level with the sticky cube generator! It was totally insane. Like me, I suppose  8)

The mirror image feature is a bit like rubbing your stomach while you are patting your head. It is like trying to guide a blob of mercury to go where you want it to go - it goes where IT wants to go. I don't think this feature will be a favorite of mine.

Gee alot happened when I was Christmas shopping and then hugging the toilet with the Stomach flu.

I love the trampolines...so cute. The conveyor belts are great if you don't go the wrong way and go off the map. I agree with everyone about the
3-D view though, It could have been the flu still but I couldn't finish it without being sick to my stomach. YUCK  and the rest I haven't got that far yet to know!!

A cheat page would be helpful for some levels as well......

Thanks for the early Christmas present though!! :D :D :D

I am loving the 3D view when it is not all walls. My first reaction to the 3D was that it has to have some areas that aren't all walls to really be appreciated. Some of those that have since been created have had few walls and then the magnificence of the 3D emerges.

First person view of the Wonderland world is beautiful at times and funny at other times.

I took one of my favorite saved levels for visual beauty and made it 3 D. It is stunning.

I love the 3D. :D

But I'm not getting any sound effects in 3D, just the soundtrack and the character voices. What do I need to do to fix this?

That's how it is teawhisk (nice name btw), the sounds don't transfer to 3D, which makes it very difficult to tell what's around the corner or looming up behind you!

Thanks for the compliment and the explanation, popo.
:D

I have to move the keyboard waaaay back from the monitor in order to play 3D or I get seasick.
